Last time I called my Friend Mr. Lee of Sitiawan to buy Perak Corp shares at 60 sen. Mr. Lee called his Remisier in Sri Manjung and Ipoh. They poured cold water on him saying that there was nothing good in Perak Corp as only old people and children are left in Perak as most young people have migrated to the bright City Lights of KL. And so Mr. Lee missed Perak Corp because of wrong advise.
Wrong advise can also come from naysayers like John Lu who don't know about buying into future value & upcoming prospect. Last time he questioned MphbCap when Calvin mentioned about Pengerang boom.

I just checked Tan Eng Hai shareholdings
He is holding 1.1 million Maju Perak shares according latest AR
His name first appeared in 2013 AR with only just above 370,000 shares. He bought more and more from year 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015 until his present holdings of 1.1 million Mj Perak shares.
So what is his average cost.
At peak of 60 sen to low of 25 sen?
So add 60 + 25 = 85 sen
Then get the average by dividing it by 50%
So 82.5 divides by 2
= 42.5 sen
So how could Tan Eng Hai sell at a loss at 37 sen?
Maybe he is buying more, who knows?
So last recent high was 60 sen
