Dear Friends of i3 Forum,

Since today is the LORD's Day we will share from the Bible

Romans 15:4

King James Bible

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Amplified Bible

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

YES! Bible has many things to teach us

Today we will highlight

TIMES OF VERY HIGH FOOD INFLATION

We will quote 3 Examples

1) VERY HIGH FOOD INFLATION DUE TO 7 YEARS DROUGHT IN ANCIENT EGYPT UNDER JOSEPH TIME

2) VERY HIGH FOOD INFLATION DUE TO WAR IN PROPHET ELISHA'S TIME

3) PROPEHCY BY JESUS CHRIST IN REVELATION ABOUT HIGH FOOD PRICES IN END TIME LIKE NOW

To-night we will SEE more what people actually did during times of famine in Bible Times

See Abraham

King James Bible (Genesis 12:10)

And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

And there was a famine in the land and Abram came down to Egypt to dwell there because the famine was very severe in the land.

In Abraham's time people were mostly farmers & livestock keepers

Without rain for a prolonged season they will suffer unless they migrate to greener pastures.

In this instance Abraham left Canaan (Present Day Israel) to live in Egypt where the Nile River kept that land fertile. He only returned back to Canaan after the famine was over

ISAAC

26 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

In this famine Isaac left Canaan & stayed in Gerar

12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.

13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

In his own land Canaan there was famine but in foreign land he prospered.

So in times of famine the best thing to do is to go elsewhere where is no famine.

Prophet Elisha & the Shunamite woman

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

And it came to pass at the seven years' end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

Exactly as Prophet Elisha predicted the famine lasted for 7 long years before she could return back home.

These 3 examples teach us we should not stay put and  "do nothing" if famine or bad times arrive. We should get up and go elsewhere where there is better prospects.

NOW WE SEE IN NATURE

Migrating Birds will leave the Northern Hemisphere when Winter Arrives in late November & Snow comes by December every year

They will only return when spring arrives next year.

See

Why Do Birds Migrate?

Birds migrate to move from areas of low or decreasing resources to areas of high or increasing resources. The two primary resources being sought are food and nesting locations. Here’s more about how migration evolved.

Birds that nest in the Northern Hemisphere tend to migrate northward in the spring to take advantage of burgeoning insect populations, budding plants and an abundance of nesting locations. As winter approaches and the availability of insects and other food drops, the birds move south again. Escaping the cold is a motivating factor but many species, including hummingbirds, can withstand freezing temperatures as long as an adequate supply of food is available.

Animals migrate in the sahara desert

The Great Wildebeest Migration

One of the most sought-after experiences for wildlife and nature enthusiasts, the Great Migration is the ever-moving circular migration of over a million animals across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The constant movement of columns of wildebeest, joined by a host of companions, follow an age-old route in search of grazing and water. After calving in the southern part of Tanzania's Serengeti near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the animals journey through the Serengeti up and around in a clockwise direction towards the Masai Mara in Kenya, before returning once again near the end of the year. Along the way, high drama is always present, as thousands of animals are taken by predators and thousands more are born, replenishing the numbers and sustaining the circle of life.

SO WE SEE HUMANS MIGRATE IN BIBLICAL TIMES FROM FAMINE AREA TO LIVE IN GREENER PASTURE LANDS

WE ALSO SEE BIRDS AND ANIMALS MIGRATE TO BETTER CLIMATE & FOOD RESOURCES ALL THE TIME

NOW WE COME TO THE 3RD POINT

FOREIGN FUNDS FLUSHED WITH CASH ARE LEAVING CHINA

Why leave China?

Answer:

China is clamping down on Tech & Other Companies which have prospered at the expense of its citizens which are left behind

China is a socialist system which allowed capitalism (but now Capitalism is curbed to protect the social needs of its people) As a result stocks like Alibaba & Tencent have crashed by 60%

In capitalism they nationalise losses & privatise profits

In socialism they privatise losses and nationalise profits.

IN USA Capitalism has gone to the other extreme by FED Money Printing

Only WALL STREET PROSPERED (Capitalism) the man on main street gets nothing.

Now with so much Fiat (Fake) Money BLOATED PAPER CURRENCY is chasing too little Goods

People in Main Street which did not benefit like Wall Street are suffering horrible inflation of 15% to 18% (Don't believe the lie that inflation only 7.5%)

USD FED For fear of its impoverished Masses is now trying to reign in hyper inflation by withdrawing QE (less moneyprinting) & raise interest rate to put out the inflation fire

This will cause a Collapse of NASDAQ & Also S&P Plus Dow will be dragged down

Escaping the financial famine in China & USA FOREIGN FUNDS HAVE WISELY MIGRATED TO EMERGING MARKETS WITH COMMODITIES LIKE MALAYSIA & INDONESIA

Canola oil now at usd1,161 and higher than last world record of Usd600

So canola oil is up by another WHOPPING 93.5%

If we benchmark Cpo last record Rm4,000 by another 93.5% it should be RM7,740 (At Rm6700 Cpo is still the cheapest Vege oil on earth anywhere!
