Dear friends,
For many years we have lived in both Johor and Singapore. Now that relationships have warmed up between Malaysia & Singapore we think these ideas will benefit both Singapore & Malaysia in general & Johor in particular
1. LAUNCH FERRY SERVICES FROM RAFFLES MARINA CONNECTED WITH PUTERI HARBOUR, FOREST CITY & KUKUP
TUAS LINK MRT Could accommodate up to 100,000 Passengers and currently under utilized. How nice it will be if there is a FERRY LINK From Raffles Marina CIQ to Puteri Harbour CIQ with extension to Forest City & Kukup
See the Maps
THE Johor government will be undertaking a study on introducing a ferry service between Puteri Harbour International Ferry Terminal in Iskandar Puteri and Singapore.
Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said that he recently had the opportunity to monitor operations at the ferry terminal, which is one of the country’s sea gateways.
ONLY 5 MINUTES?
GREAT! THE SPORE JB RTS WILL ALSO TAKE 5 MINUTES BY END 2026
But for now can we INCREASE PASSENGERS BY CHANGING TO SKYRIDER SEATS?
SkyRider is an airliner saddle seat, a type of airplane seat shaped similar to a horse saddle. It was designed by the Italian firm Aviointeriors and reduces economy-class seating spacing (seat pitch) from an average of 32- to 30-inches, to 23-inches (58cm), a 25% decrease. The creator describes it as for use for ultra-high density seating configurations, allowing up to 40% increase in passenger capacity.[
SINGAPORE HAS THE AMBITION OF BECOMING THE SWITZERLAND OF ASIA
WELL DONE!
SINGAPORE HAS NOW OVERTAKEN SWITZERLAND IN PER CAPITA INCOME
AT USD102,450 (SPORE)
AT USD91,991 (SWITZERLAND)
SINGAPORE CAN GO HIGHER AND BE LIKE MONACO

Like Singapore MONACO is a land scarce placeIts population of workers are more than the local citizenry
Majority of Workforce Travel in and out of Monaco seamlessly like Clock-work every day.
See MONACO Per Capita Income
AT USD 234,317 (More than twice that of Singapore)
Like Singapore Monaco is land scarce
The Work Force that came in the Morning to Monaco leaves in the evening
The population of those working in Monaco is more than the actual local population
Why?
Because Monaco's entry and exit are very efficient and allow workers to live away from Monaco even though they travel there to work

No, you do not need to live in Monaco to work in the principality. Many people who work in Monaco are foreign workers who live in the bordering cities, including Nice, Beausoleil, Cap d’Ail, Roquebrune Cap Martin, and Menton. Many people commute to the principality by train, car, bike, or by foot, depending on the distance.
Nice is a vibrant city about 20 kms away from Monaco. Typical journey times by car are 31 minutes, although this can be more in rush-hour traffic. A regular train service runs from Nice to Monaco, taking around 27 minutes.
4) IDEA OF STARTING A 24 HOUR HYPER MARKET IN JOHOR
In those days when we lived in Bkt Batok & then Jurong we used to cross over to JB for a quick supper and back when there is less traffic - especially in the wee hours of the night and morning from 1am to 4 am
We don't find any HYPER MARKET OPEN FOR 24 HOURS Except for some small sundry shops
How nice if we can do some shopping when the crowd is not there
5) AFTER 2ND LINK BRIDGE Before Reaching JOHOR 2ND LINK JB CUSTOM There is A Long Stretch of Land Space
These will be Excellent to Put up Sign Boards to Show Case All the Attractions of JOHOR STATE (or most will bypass Johor and go up north to Melaka, KL & others
Places of Interest in Johor are
i) DESARU OCEAN PARKS & FRUIT FARM Self Ride Tours on 3 Wheelers Bikes
ii) KOTA TINGGI RIVER CRUISE WATCHING FIRE FLY AT NIGHT
Unique to Johor (Not found in Australia, America, Japan, Europe & Elsewhere

iii) START A BUNGEE JUMP RESORT IN BANDAR SRI ALAM
There is a Deep Blue Lake in Sri Alam perfect to build a Resort with Bungee Jump

iv) GO FISHING AND STAY AT THE MANY KELONGS OFF MERSING AND PULAU TIOMAN

Plan Kampong Homestay
Early morning can go collect kampong eggs, pluck fruit first hand and others

Singapore Island to Sentosa Island Broadwalk
Can put benches for resting. Also restaurants & food kiosks & rest rooms along the way
In a way it is a tourist destination on its own. Excellent!

If not enough space on Johor Causeway to build Boardwalk can always do some land reclamation like in Forest City & Danga Bay
Cost will be worth it as 5 million Sporeans & 3 million Johoreans will benefit from using it for
1) Crossing to work by Johoreans to Singapore
2) Crossing to play, shop & relax by Singaporeans
3) Can make the Broadwalk a tourist Destination by itself if done professionally
See how easy to reclaim land from the sea (and cost effective: cheap & fast)
