I dont think the forex loss matters, since its mostly hedged, therefore there should be a financial instruments derivative gains to set off against.

KYY, i think your intention is right (most of the time), but you seem to keep going about things in the wrong way and lack self awareness.

Like it or not, you have caused people to lose money, and like it or not, whenever you tell people to buy stocks, you have also profited handsomely from it.

Lastly, people will be losers, if they listen to your advice, they keep thinking stocks is a zero sum game, that someone must lose in order for the others to make money.

You know that's not true, the real money in stocks comes in a business growing over time, increasing earnings and increasing dividends.

Its only a zero sum game in the short term.

Lets be objective, the last time airasia was at its peak of 3.4 ringgit in 2011 and 2012, the NTA is RM1.46 per share. It is now 2.140 with much lower debt and a much more streamlined operation.

So this company is at least 40% more valuble since its peak valuation in 2012 and is now 26.5% cheaper. Its a no brainer to buy some and keep.

Stockmanmy, i lost more than 10% on gamuda-we, every time i look at the minus 10%, i feel like blaming KYY and OTB.

But every time i check, KYY and OTB facts is sound regarding Gamuda-We.

I dont believe this quarter and the next year gamuda wont have an amazing year.

Ekowood is TSH subsidiary 67% owner. Almost all their directors is the same. Office also same building, ie it will 100% go through, question now is what is your breakeven for TSH share.

TSH is plantation company, great last 3 quarters, don't see how final year any diff. As its a subsidiary, 100% of the profit or loss is already consolidated into TSH accounts and the acquisition of company is below book value, so its only going to increase the value of TSH.

This thing will go through, 100%. Ekowood office is within TSH office already. The directors every day say hello, no way it wont go through. Only question here is, what is the break even point.

At 0.33, TSH price must drop below the all time low to 1.59 before you even lose money. I think this is impossible. Its a plantation company, high debts, but 3 positive quarter in a row. Considering how high CPO prices is for sept to dec, im sure the 4th is a positive as well.

Just the loss for the quarter is realized, not all. It does not go into detail. If the company thinks the project is a loss, the entire loss should be recognized, but considering how long its fallen, its not.

Second bit, interest cost that was incurred after COD (Confirmed Operating Date) cannot be capitalized, so you'd see a bigger drop in profit basically. But the plant should be operating then, so it might be offset-ted by the revenue or profit (if any).

If i was the director, and i know the price will crash soon due to bad quarter. I will buy 2 million shares right after a big crash due to bad pr management, and then slowly sell it at a loss, because as a shark, i want to feed ikan bilis.

You are right, but that is in Nov, this quarter is Q3 which is July, August and September.

In July, price is still USD 1.5. In addition, with the opening of new plants, its likely that cost will fall as well due to economy of scale.

I dont expect less profits. You dont post 2 unbelievable quarters and then just crash the profit the next quarter, its a slow drop if anything.

I still expect this quarter to be much higher than the previous year and for this quarter to be the biggest quarter for this year.

You know, realistically, this is a good company, im still wondering about why drop like siao.

The retrenchment and solar market drop, plus trump etc is like perfect storm sial.
