Jjchan: u not even know the book value of splash n u asked people to buy? Plz be responsible to wat u tell people. Previously u asked people to buy at 1.70 at the end it felt to 1.20. This time u give a buy call at 1.96, now is 1.68. U know wat is MALU? Dont talk like u r an expert. To me i r nothing. Talk big but nothing happen. Sorry. I dont trust ur word at all. I am worried about ur buying price at 1.95 in million shares. Wat u bought today, few hundred thousand, i am not interested. Because all ur words r rubbish.

As seen in i3 data, DRB sales going down and down and loss piling up. Every years workers must have increment. How to make profit when sales lower and workers demand higher pay?

Wow..MC. Thanks for your in-depth view of CWs.
Yes, I do agree the higher risk involved in trading these CWs. The thrill of high return may excite you but need to keep check the downside of high losses may incurred if it does not work.
I have my fair share of losses in trading these CWs as I did not understand the mechanics of it. It was real stupid of me then.
Now, I'm trying to understand more about these and hopefully can trade more wisely. I guess we need patient especially in current market condition. Thus, contra play may not be so wise.
Idea is always to buy at low but low can can lower, right. Thus, I'm always concern of this, trying to see the right safe price to enter.
As blue chips are going lower, their CWs are getting attractive but trying to contain the temptation, at the moment..
Yes, hopefully we can get better in trading these..
Good Sharing Bro.

Thanks kcchongnz for the detail explanation on the CWs..
Appreciate it man...
Now I understand a little bit more on the premium side.
However, on the gearing side, what is it implying to and why the higher the better ?
Sorry, still a novice.. :)

FCTB, yes.. market is a cruel place as I have learned the hard way.
we make mistakes but most important, are we learning from it ?
yes, decision made is of own call..
many advices here and there but buy call has to be from own judgement.
thanks and happy holiday to you too... :)
p/s : i still believe there are some good souls out there...

B&SS&B, you are right..
I, too, visit i3 to learn and look thru for any useful info.
It is a good platform albeit all the unnecessary noises.
Mat, hope all the experience traders will continue to guide the newbies/novices in making good trading call.
I am no newbie to the market but still consider a novice as ever learning each day...

Hi, this is how I relate to the queries...
1. Is trading easy? If yes, how? If not, why?
A definite NO... Always no idea of correct entry price and even worst, did not exit when gain.. Don't know how to identify potential stock to trade.
2. What are common mistakes newbies done and how to advise them?
Did not do homework before jumping in. Trying to catch the hottest stock of the day and in the end, always buy high/sell low... I have pretty good experinces with this one.. So eager to jump in when seeing the price/volume keep "blinking" in the trading platform. Advise? May try dummy trading first to see if you get it right..
3. What do you think of those trading courses, those advertisments claiming that they could catch a breakouk etc etc?
Hmmm.. actually tempted to attend some of it but did not do it in the end cos schedule was not suitable. Anyway, I feel these courses do not guarantee that you will become a successful trader but it is more of the experiences you gain once you are in the game... You gain from experiences, just don't make it an expensive one...Btw, knowledge is power, so no harm attending to gain some BUT don't expect much lor...
4. What is your trading strategies that work and do not work? Mind sharing?
I just try to read the info posted in the forum and then research it, before deciding whether to trade it or not. Looking at TA charts too.
5. add in those questions to make the thread worth reading. Being focus and continue to learn is one of the MOST important thing in trading.... Learning is a journey, not a destination... ;p

Good morning guys.
This is one thread i would like to learn from others.
We need to learn from others mistakes cos we don't live long enough to make all... hehehe.
Hope can share how to overcome this.
I'm still a newbie despite years On & Off the market.
Really would like to learn how to spot potential stocks and know when to exit.. cheers.

Bro CP. I make the same mistakes as you. Thus, I'm a qualified newbie. Greed is another big concern. When price rises, thinking it will go up and up but when reverse, still no plan to release. In the end, in loss position.
Bro Tokan. You are right to say we must plan to trade and trade our plan. This is my failure.
Need to learn and learn. Just hope it won't be an expensive one.
