Share market can be very cruel

Accountants are not comfortable with concept stocks.

For concept stocks, one have to approach Marcus Chan CFA, CIMB.

At the end of the day, the only members of the public who makes money from the stockmarket are people like my wife.
She probably makes two or three transactions a year, only focuses on shares of the highest quality.
Told me specifically not interested in any of the shares promoted by the i3 people...KYY or Icon included. Doesn't like shares that go up and down. Bought a fair bit of IGB Reits recently
When oil price came down to US$ 28....she says she wants to buy SK Petrol but I discouraged her.

good morning...It did occur to me to sell off the portfolio in early January (when Wall Street started tanking) and stay away for a few months...Not bad for a few weeks work and 15 -20% return.
But I didn't.
I got catch up in my own writings
The take away lesson.....everyone is a trader pretending to be an investor.

It is very difficult to be a trader when one is writing about investing, and very difficult to be an investor when one is always in i3., writing about trading.

at the end of the day, everybody gets mediocre results because to get superior results, one has to be stubborn and right.

to be stubborn and right, wins big
to be stubborn and wrong lose big.
businessmen like KYY tends to be stubborn.

academicians, bloggers, portfolio managers, CFAs, traders...these are not stubborn people, they have no guts to be stubborn, they don't have what it takes...I included...the only free lunch in town is to be diversified.

reshuffling from high quality, well managed, low PE, fast growing export stocks to low quality, penny stocks is reshuffling yes...but reshuffling to lower and lower quality portfolio.

ps..BA without RC (revolving credit) is different from BA with RC facility.

if the intention is to trade...the best way to trade is to all in or all out according to circumstances.

in a bull scenario , all boats gets lifted, risk taking comes back, and exporters gives the lowest PE, best growth , best earnings transparencies.
3 1/2 high ringgit translated to nothing in the real life of a company.

lets assume a bull scenario based on QE in Japan and US......
On a bull scenario, one of the best buy would still be top performing exports like Top Glove...( Zika virus latest catalyst)
The take home message is that indiscriminate selling of exporters over ringgit strength is to be faced head on.
In a bull scenario, pretty soon, everyone will soon realise...the exporters gives the best returns in recessionary Malaysia.

One thing, raider has noted is that, when market is volatile & and indecisive in its action, it is best to be reactive than anticipative.

Not bearish....just that even if oil is to trade between $40 and $50, it will take a few months to reach there....not hours. Oil market is huge and not a penny stock.

In bolehland, free spectrum also lousy service.....if pay high price for spectrum, we all go back to pre smart phones!

But analyst work so often is so boring, no soul
Master story teller work is so much more easy to read.

A blogger, a storyteller, a master teller...
As long as that is recognized, it is ok.

A financial analysts needs to meet the management, do projections,

Good analysts give a balanced view...the pros and cons, the risks, the rewards....
Use spread sheets, analyses figures.
A story teller task is to tell his story.

But why ban?

Icon is a story teller....master story teller.

Let him tell his story.

Icon is the spokesmen and story teller for the penny stocks......and no one else wants that job.


....a financial analysts? Certainly not.

I particular, the reason I write this blog is simply that.....

This morning I read a lot of comments like buy buy buy, sell sell sell.....as if tomorrow is too late...buy buy buy this, sell sell sell that.

I dare say everyone wants to be successful via stock market like KYY.....

Well....no one can be a KYY if he continue to behave like headless chicken the rest of his life.

Majority of exports stocks will see new highs in 2016....well managed companies in the export sector has a natural growth of between 10 to 15%.
