its easier to spot fundamental errors in Icon because he focuses on telling grand mother stories not on equity research.

really kah? i browsed thru all your recent comments, beside you said all the good thing about your own counter, the rest majority are attacking Icon counters, there are so many blogs in i3, i don't really see you perform your so called "public service" in other bloggers.

air asia AND AIR ASIA X should be reasonable stock picks. but the political environment don't favor them.... How?

it depends. It all depends on the quality of management and business model. Some will succumb to profit taking and never recover.
The better ones will be able to make sure of the good fortune and circumstances to be better and stronger.
...............one more thing....the ringgit is not going to suddenly recover to below $4....that is just impossible.....more like $5 , if you ask me.

After most export co up 100-200% in 2015, this year appears to be much more challenging as less n less stocks can be found...and also some export co could see profit taking soon...

tkp....I will also point out the fundamental errors in your writings if you write like Icon , full of grand mother stories and no competence or depth in analysis.

At least for the next several months, the bull case is much more compelling than the bear case...for the Malaysian stock market.
1....principal blue chips have dropped more than a year by now. The blue chips are trading at 12 month lows already. Not as if the blue chips are in speculative zone.
2...oil prices at set to recover from this level
3....it is only some speculative shares that may have difficulty finding support at this level
4..fundamentally, export companies will continue to do very well into 2016. That is the nature of all companies when their home currencies are depreciated by 20 - 30%
there is nothing to fear except fear itself and wrong choice of stocks.

JHM vs D & O
Dufu vs JCY
Comintel vs VS
penny stock and illiquid share specialist will always choose the former.

a job worth doing is worth doing well. ....
cut out all the grandmother stories from the blogs on JHM ( Parts 1 to 5), MIECO owing $ 40M + to BRD and still talking about dividends, highly dependent on short term financing Comintel on a very thin margin business and still call it financially healthy..I can go on and on.....

but I find KYY stock picks has a more responsible attitude to the public, to the stock market compared to a penny stock and illiquid shares specialists......you playing with fire will get into a PN 17 situation soon.

"The revenue reported for second quarter is slightly lower than preceding quarter by RM7.5 million
or 7.6%. The current adverse development economy situation has caused the slow demand in local
sales or decrease in local sales 17.4% however the export sales still perform favourably"
Pensoni results augers well for the reporting season.....especially for the exports business.
to note...Pensoni do about 1/3 export business, 2/3 domestic business.
local sales decline by 17.4%.....that is SHit. people not getting married anymore?
whether the results is good enough to propel the share higher in this environment is difficult to say....but it deserves a higher PE rating....for year 2016, people will have no choice but to buy Pensoni products and no more money for German products.

this Caely is a very interesting case study for a smallish company in development business as well as manufacturing. How to do a fair valuation?
The people who knows are not involved in the buying and selling. The people who buys and sells, don't know and don't care.
Note 8 to the latest results offers a way forward. About $40 m of the net assets are in property development . About $ 30 m of the net assets are in manufacturing.
A rough estimate is to give a PE of 6 to 7 for the manufacturing operations..valuing it at $36m to $42 .it cannot justify a higher PE because it is too small, too uncertain and too high beta. For the property division, there is no way to do a proper valuation because its contribution and activity seems to have collapsed from last year and no way to tell what its future will be.
Why don't you have a relook and do a rough fair valuation?
and not just do an article to tempt speculators with sensational headlines.

My wife only buys shares, never sell shares. And she buys only when there is a crisis and she makes tonnes of money.
So I ask you, is there a crisis in Malaysia right now?
The answer is of course there is a crisis in Malaysia right now.....so, the obvious conclusion is that this is as good a time as any to buy shares.
Then the next question is what shares?
The answer is obvious to all forum members.
Just keep a small portfolio of KYY recommended shares for the next 12 months, don't look at it.....I bet it will give you 20% return minimum. A portfolio of 5 good shares is actually very safe one.....of course CFAs and professionals will recommend a portfolio of 10 shares to be safer.

..I will give them a higher PE rating than the market has given them. The market is very slow in recognizing this kind of company. They are ambitious to say the least. But not reckless ambition.
They aim for sustainable balanced growth and all divisions managed well.
