I prefer Growth Stock!
I understand the priority of the usage of funds for growth stock - to expand the business.
I do not expect good dividend or any dividend at all
All I want is see capital appreciation over time
I am patient... I invest, not short-term

We have said we are not necessary a perfect stock

There will be times you may be disappointed with progress and even by our actions

It may not be a smooth journey. But we have a target and a plan. A growth plan

If you expect the stock to climb up everyday every minute it won't happen. Let me know which stock that performs like that?

Agree that it is not the management duty nor responsibility to stabilise the price of the stock. Yes, their job is to run the company well to earn good profits for the good of its stakeholders.

However, the effort of the management showing their confidence in the stock like company share buy back when their stock price is undervalue is a good thing if the company has the capacity to do so when the need arises and best, if its directors are buying the stock - it shows the public how much confidence they have in their own company.

Wait for the quarter briefing first. Btw, it's not the mgmt job to stabilise the price. We have to appreciate that the mgmt himself is willing to share the info here. I have dealt with a lot of listed co mgmt. If you re not big fund PM, they wont even want to look at you. If you re from EPF or PNB, they will quickly come and cosy with you!

Business Review and Outlook:

For the full year, the sales came in at RM238 mil from previous RM256 mil, a decrease of 7% due to interruption in moving machines between factories and lesser orders especially from the effects of the trade war.

For the coming quarters starting with Q1FY2020, we expect the contribution from the EMS sector to increase steadily and also
contributions from other segments. We target sales revenue of RM320 mil in FY2020. We expect further growth in FY2021 with targeted sales of above RM400 mil annual sales mainly from the fabrication business. These figures have not been audited and are internal management targets.

With better economies of scale, we hope the targeted 7.5% to 9% PAT margin and EBITDA 20% margin will be achieved as a result of the Group’s move into precision fabricated machined metal parts in the EMS sector. This is a strategic move, away from being a 100% machined parts manufacturer, which will help generate more sales per ringgit invested in capital expenditure.

We expect a finalization of the Business Interruption Loss (BIL) claim in the near future.

The capex budget next year in line with new customers in the HDD, Automotive and Camera segments, we expect another RM25 million expenditure to meet order demand.

For FY2019, the Board is pleased to announce an interim single tier tax-exempt dividend of 1 sen per share and such declaration has
already exceeds our current dividend policy of 30% PAT payout.

2019 Q3 Gain 0.56

Total Loss Up to Q3 is 1.35

That's why stock price of NOTION dropped so much from high of 1.35 to 0.445

Agree. Condition is good for high probability win trade.

Management has stated that Claire award will be known before 2019 ends, and expect favorable judgment.

I expect people don’t really work much during the last 2 weeks of Christmas, so this could come in 1st two weeks of Dec.

If a favorable judgment is out, share price will go straight up past 70 cents.

However, the most important/effective factor to attract the attention and interest of investors is... company must show improved performance in the QR to be announced next week and management show their confidence in the future prospect of the company - to be stated in the QR.

Has been waiting to buy Hibiscus since May 2019 but the stock is in the downtrend channel. No hurry...wait until it breaks above the downtrend channel, they only I will buy.

Even if the best stock to buy based on Fundamental Analysis (FA), we still need to go in at the right time/right price level.

What's the use if you buy a good stock at very high price?

So, once you have identified a good fundamental stock, the next thing is to ensure that you get in at a good price level - timing of entry.

This is where Technical Analysis comes in...

Yesterday was a good and healthy brief retracement preparing for the stock to go higher - shaking off weak retailers (it happens all the time). There is no adverse factor for ARMADA - note the excellent results delivered by other uptream O&G companies till yesterday.

To me, its is an excellent situation for investors while short-term traders were shocked.

Have a productive day ahead.

I suggest that you do not entertain questions that not relevant to investment needs (but speculation on stock) to avoid getting into trouble. I want to see you around in this forum for a long long time.

@888next, can you share your view on the profitability of EMS business. I believe the margin for DYSON's products may be very small - please correct me if I am wrong. I peeked into the profit margin of ATA, VS and SKP and found that their margin is very low.
So, these companies needs to rely on large volume for higher profit.

I believe the EMS factor should bring benefits to FY2020 , FY2021 and FY2022 and beyond on this growth path. There are market risk and execution risk and the ability to deliver and control costs

I just follow management of MYEG when they buy back their share.

NEVER !!! Good opportunity is hard to come by and shall not be wasted.

We already know that MYEG ventured into other countries like Philippines, Indonesia & Bangladesh a few years ago (in order to expand and leverage on its knowledge and expertise in this field and not solely relying on its business in Malaysia) and now we starting to see positive results coming in...

Things are certainly getting better for MYEG after suffering from unfortunate challenges one after another after GE14...

Look at the financial performance of MYEG over the past one year after GE14 and you will noticed that its revenue and profit has been stable and good. If not for the impairment for the GST system in the last quarter of 2018, its business revenue and profit would be positive like any other quarter.

So now we are waiting for the last quarterly results of 2019.

Based on the past track records and no unusual developments (no bad news so far), we can expect another good results coming...

When that happens, the 4 rolling quarters EPS will improve (because no more affected by the 4th quarter 2018 losses - due to impairments of GST system). Therefore, PE will improve as well.

Note: If MYEG manage to get a contract to implement GST system in one of the overseas country, there may be reversal of impairment later. That would be a strong boost for the company.

Well, it can only gets better when they continue to doing the right things... Overseas business contribution especially from Philippines will start to coming in from the next quarter onward! Cheers!

A few weeks ago a Canon team visited our rebuilt Klang plant and passed a comment. Notion s plants is a world class manufacturer. They were visibly impressed with the capabilities and technology

Our EMS customer teams from UK and Johor visited us last week to assess our capabilities and processes. They videoed our processes and took back prototype samples to UK and discussed at length on work progress and our commitment to customer. A very fruitful meeting and again the team liked what they saw

Firstly not everyone speculate based on "sharks'" activities, they invest.

Secondly, have you seen "sharks" play a stock that rose more than 100%? Plenty!

Look at ARMADA...
Started to move out from its sideways trend and went up from around 0.23. Now how much? 0.525 = Increased more than 100% !!!
Noticed my friends went in and out (buy & sell; buy & sell...) of this stock but in the end earn much lesser than myself just holding on to it from 0.22.

Invest based on your medium to long-term strategy.
