KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 6): A total of 25.5 million shares or 3.7% of Yong Tai Bhd changed hands in a series of off-market trades yesterday.

According to Bloomberg, the 25.5 million shares worth RM5.99 million or 23.5 sen apiece were traded in four blocks.

The 23.5 sen price represents a premium of four sen or 20.51% to Yong Tai’s closing price of 19.5 sen yesterday. The identities of those who participated in the trades were as at press time unknown.

sadly, but so true. Good lesson learn for the CEO.

YTB needs to be more aggressive in term of marketing, and creative on the show. I hope they can sustain the encore melaka show, bring back the glory of the company, and confidence level of the investors.....

also, I watch similar show in Vietnam but smaller scale, the ticket price is less than RM5, for like 45 mins.

th encore melaka concept is just too limited, and to China tourist, Melaka is probably just a small. peanut, nothing really to shout about on its history or transforming. it can't just depend entirely on China as main source of client, if it doesn't even attract the local tourist, it is not going to sustain. put it some VR or 3D or 7D related shows to enhance user experience may help. anyhow, just a personal opinion, I have never been inside but just view it from online show.

looks like those holding the warrant are exercising the warrant and then selling the glomac share....it has bringing down the share price thought glomac keep buying back the share to prevent further price drop. Good time to buy now and hold until the warrant expires in Oct, then the share price will be ard RM1.....my personal opinion !

fully agreed. good counter but entry price is important. i.e, for those enter at RM1.8 few months back, difficult to break even for counter like hapseng within a year, i would say.
