The point now is whether it is wise to buy now in anticipation that the discount will narrow when approaching year 2025.

TTB is right that the existence of COL is the reason for the large discount. This is cited by one of the early research papers. In this case, the reason is obvious. COL wants to buy cheap and induce disgruntled minority shareholders to vote against the BOD.

Judging from pass AGM voting results, TTB controls less than 30% and was decreasing over time. COL is only short of 10m shares to bring down the BOD.

His profit forecast for JHDP was a very close call. I agree that DK was inexperience when dealing with his haters in i3 so he left. There is nothing wrong with leaving i3 when you don't like the place. After all, i3 is not a nice place for sharing. I notice that there are lesser people sharing their ideas in i3 nowadays. Why should they ?

Otherwise, he provided all the links to the statements he made in his over 60 articles written on JHDP. He said that Jaks has majority board seats until such time the RCPS are converted to give the chinese partner 70% ownership (from current 50%). Fyi Im still holding Jaks stock with about 30% paper loss, so Im in the same boat as you if you are Jaks stock holder.
Would like to know the source of info regarding Jaks hold 3 out of 5 board seats, as I m quite curious how with China CPECC 70% stake they would allow Jaks to control JHDP boardroom.

It's Compounding, FYI Jaks currently has 3 out of 5 board seats in JHDP. It is common sense that Jaks will see that the dividend be distributed so that it can take up the additional 10%.

So, cannot anyhow promote, but can anyhow demote??

The profit from JHDP is real. The profit is kept outside malaysia to avoid tax on foreign source income. Profit for the first 3 years will be utilised for the subscription of optional additional 10% ownership in JHDP at cost plus interest. This will increase its future annual profit contribution from JHDP by 33% from about RM150m to RM200m.
