Isn't this a form of manipulation?

JPM shorted since many moons ago. So if they bought back some now meaning they are making money. Just that they have deeper pockets than all of us. Still, I believe TG price will move up eventually.

JPM want to short lagi kah. TP lower like this. But RSS bought back 41mil shares will short again or not. Need to monitor closely RSS net short next week. Correct?

Unlikely KLCI will move up much due to many unfavourable factors. Amongst the many reasons one of which retail investors find very unpleasant is the RSS allowed to institutions (there is no fair playing field). Whenever a good stock wanna move up the RSS will come into play. So how to move the KLCI index up? Of course one can say other markets (I have no idea here) also have RSS but developed markets are a different apples when compared with a developing market like KLCI.

Two things Regulators must look into:

1. Share prices shoot up when listed companies not making profit yoy or qoq. EPS, ROE etc etc were all negatives. Reason? Growth ?
2. Share prices going down day after day when listed companies make huge profit qoq and yoy. ROE, EPS etc etc are all positives. Reason? All factored in already? No more growth story.

Funny thing is UMAs are issued only for stocks that shoot up but no UMAs issued when stocks shoot down. Why the bias? Is this also one of the reason our KLCI Index seems to be stuck at the lower end year after year.

Country already in deep problem and these politicians keep on fighting for themselves. Sigh.

Singapore govt already announced that Covid will most likely be endemic and we may have to learn to live with it just like any other flu. Sigh. So even with vaccines Covid will not go away in a year or two. Stay safe all and observe your SOP.

John1234, I agree with you. If only Rubberex can issue long dated convertible warrants FOC it will definitely enhance shareholder value.

Dividend investors should start collecting now. At RM4.00 the dividend yields is very attractive. I think the downside risk is quite limited.

Very unlikely for one to lose 100% in stock investing unless the company goes bankrupt and close shop. Looking at these gloves counters they will be listed in Bursa for a long long time to come. Anyway the future is always bright if you are positive. Best of all when one has the funds/money to withstand the volatility in the market irrespective of whether is a storm or sunshine. Wish everyone makes money one way or the other.

It is definitely not a level playing field as far as stock trading is concerned. To make it a level playing field everyone, including retailers, should be allowed to short sell. If futures trading of FKLI and FCPO allow retailers to short sell I do not see why this is not allowed in stock trading. Although there are some differences between stocks and futures trading, the authorities can come up with a mechanism to overcome such issues so that fairness is given to all.

Just read a message from doctors in the frontline pleading to all to stay at home as far as possible. They are all overworked and need help from us all as well as to help ourselves. Ruberex pay dividends consistently for past years and this has now being broken even though this was the year with highest profits per quarter/year. A dividend of 2 sen only come up to RM16.6m. Share price would have moved up if dividends given. Maybe they want the price to move lower so that can do share buyback.

PJSeow, I agree with you thoroughly. Supermax is a good counter, no doubt about that. As to prices not sustaining is just part and parcel of the market. When investors' sentiment is high investors buy and vice versa. I have no doubt Supermax will be making profits many years to come. It is only a question of how much.

Our labour/manpower minister should be doing the job in finding out was there really cases of 'forced labour' in our manufacturing industries. Don't we have SOPs on how labour must be treated in our country? Why let someone else to do the findings and smear the name of our industries and country. I think this is a serious issue and a sovereign matter that must be addressed appropriately.

This is a ridiculous world. Just one man (supported by the powerful) can do so much damage to an industry. In a way, we investors also become a 'forced labour investors' losing our bonus and our pants not to mention our hard earned savings just because of the man. Where is our manpower/labour minister by the way???? If this is the way things should happen then we are not a sovereign country as proclaimed. Our economy can be controlled by the whips and fancies of just one man.

Building a production factory in US is not viable or cost effective in long run. Take an example, Operating cost in US is comparative much higher than Malaysia. Recently, Biden sets the minimum hourly wage rate at high US$15. Currently, minimum hourly rate is US$ 7.25. The daily worker's pay is 8hours X US$7.25 = US$58 = MY240. How much is a Malaysian worker in a glove factory being paid per day?
At what selling price of glove is Supermax going to sell in US? If US is flooded with cheaper MY or China made gloves, what happens...

Looks like this management not taking care of shareholders. No dividends for year 2020 but coming AGM about directors remunerations and benefits.

Someone spread fake news on this stock and created panic selling among retail players. This is a good stock doing good and healthy business so it will rise again.
