Among many analysts, TA likes Mahsing the most, giving TP at RM2.60. Great.

Please be reminded that its nick name is “TurtleSing” in term of share price performance. If you want to invest into Mahisng, you need to be very very patient .

The mgt said that there will be more provision in the next qtr but should not affect as badly as Q4FY14. Q2FY15 onwards the profitibility would back to normal.

It is the provision for banking biz in Indonesia causes the big drop on profit.

Provision is a common and more frequent exercise in banking industry as compared to others industry.

What the article said are exactly how I make money (on paper only lah) from Mahsing i.e from the few Right Issues and Bonus Issues from the past years.

Note: 6.5 cents dividend for 2015 has been proposed on 16 Feb 15. The new shares from Right (trades on 26Feb15) and bonus issue(few months later) would entitle for the 6.5 cents. Historically the 6.5 cents will be ex in Sep 15. Good luck to you.

I have to declare that I have a lot of Padini, nevertheless, if you ask me, I do not encourage new comers buying Padini at the moment. It would be wiser to buy after dust settling down, even if with higher cost by then. With the current situation, I opine that Padini will not shot up high, the best is sustaining at the current price or maybe slightly higher.
I am holding it for nice div while buying time for its biz to recover.

My understanding: The announced Div for 2015=6.5 cents. Historically, div will be ex in September. The 1:4 bonus will be completed in Q3, should be before the ex date of div. Thus the prospective bonus shares will entitle for 6.5 cents too.

Div is to increase but not reduce:
After right issue and bonus issue, we will have more shares. Therefore in fact we are going to receive more divident in total RM. We should look at the total div to be received but not the annnouced div per share as our share qty has increased.

The most important factor is if the net profit increases more than previous year, which so far has increased by 21%(9mthsFY14 vs. 9mthsFV13). Hence total dividend that we will receive for this year is likely to increase by about 21%. Div policy is ~40% from the net profit.

Pertaining to the 8 cents dividend, it is very confusing. My understanding is that there is no dividend announced for the current qtr. The 8 cents which creates confusion was of FY End Sep14 which was declared on 10 Oct 14 and paid on 11 Nov 14 (item A7, pg 7 & item B11, pg 16).

Having more likes tycoon KKY, then give proportionally more. If having less, can join the good deed too by giving our best.

Some simple examples are not to bargain in wet market, they do not really earn a lot; support those hawkers with less biz., they are trying their best to earn a living thru own hard work, why stingy our support, to us it is maybe just a less tasty meal, to them it is a living.

OR : there is no more OR for anybody by now. It has expired for both trading and application on 4 Feb 15 and 12 Feb 15 respectively. OR is a Form for every mother share before the exdate(entitlement) on 22Jan15, it is a Form you which used to subscribe mother share at RM1.42.

You are right by filling up the Form with a backdraft and sending to Registrar before 12 Feb15.

You should use 1 OR to subscribe for 1 mother at rm1420. The mother share is trading at rm2000 now, you can pocket in the different rm580 if mashing sustains at 2000 couple weeks later when mother shares are despatched to you..

I sold all of my big holding on ytl one day before the ex-date of the 9 cents div last couple months because I guess there will not be generous div in 2015.
