These are Superior either in Taste, Value and Price

1. Dlady does not have a low production cost base as it outsources its milk supply from 3rd party

2. High feed cost for cows in turn create higher cost of milk production

3. Minimum wage raised in farms from Rm1000 to Rm1500 for foreign labour and for locals wages gone up from Rm1300 to Rm2200 cause even higher cost of production

4. UNLIKE NESTLE WHICH CAN RAISE ITS MILO PRICES AND PSSS ON COST TO CONSUMERS DLADY CANNOT AS IT HAS LOTS OF COMPETITORS OUT THERE

SO WHILE MASSED GOT ONLY ONE MILO (QUITE ADDICTIVE TASTE WHICH IS HARD TO REPLACE) PEOPLE CAN SWITCH FROM DLADY TO FEENLEAF MILK (CHEAPER AND TASTE BETTER)

SO DLADY IS FACING LOTS OF DISADVANTAGES IN A WORLD OF FIERCE COMPETITIONS

END RESULT:

LONG TERM DECLINE BACK TO RM4.00 WHERE IT FIRST STARTED

WHAT SHOULD BE DONE:

Why dlady will fall further ?

Answer: it has no moat or edge like nestle

at least nestle got Milo (captures 95% of beverage market while dlady losing market share to many others like fernleaf, f&n, good day milk and others )

it is not cost effective like Ikea or Walmart which buy from source at lowest price and sell full at retail) dlady sources it's milk from 3rd parties and middle men at higher cost (now it eats into its profits )

no moat, no edge, no margin of safety and so?

How people can afford such high priced soyoil and neglect the bargain level palm oil?

Suppose if everyone drives Merc Benz, Bmw or Volvo and neglect Proton and Perodua?

Or people go eat shark fin, abalone and caviar ? And avoid normal cheaper fare?

So in a recessionary world it is a matter of time before more people switch from the highly overpriced soyoil to the more economical palm oil

yes, I think with hap seng mother in financial trouble they might use hs plant to give more dividends

this was what boustead did with bplant

hs plant accounts even better as it has zero debt and about half billion cash in hand

every time people see related party dealings they will assume it is for the benefit of insider directors

they think, " privatise profits and nationalize losses will be the norm"

however we should give Jtiasa the benefit of the doubt and let them do what they think best

after all we already received a total of 4.3 sen dividend last year

now just like people got misgivings when they wrongly sold down bplant when they heard bplant going into algae business last time

Divides 139,897 by 190,360

= 73.4%

So we see an increase of Ffb

Now let us wait for June 2023 ffb figures

THIS OPPORTUNE TIME TO BUY OVER 55% WILL INCREASE PROFITS
SO THIS IS A GOOD MOVE

For months of April and May 2023

April 23: 61,312 MT
May 23: 78,585

Total: 139,897 Metric Tonnes

And more so as Monthly Ffb harvest has also increased

so Rm1.09 less 16 sen means cost pared down to 93 sen

However, Calvin also tells all to buy Bplant, Jtiasa, Thplant, Hs Plant, Taann and Sop and Fgv which also give excellent dividends as well

Jtiasa is only paying Rm3560 per acre or only a mere 8.1 sen per sq ft

41 years lease still better than those in Indonesia Klk bought from ijmplant with only 35 years lease

Also in Spore land for farming use only got 25 years lease

The plus point is these lands already planted with mature oil palms

No need planting

According to our friend from Malaysia having small 40 acres palmoil

He said in those good months of early 2022 he gets about Rm1,000 an acre Ffb per month

Just 3.5 months already can get cash of Rm3500

So Rm3560 per acre with planted oil palms is sap sap sui

Yesterday in USA July 2023 soyoil future ended up at Us67 a lb. This will give support for palm oil again today

Looks like many soybean growing states in the US have been cutting back planting

That means that year end harvest will be less and thus prices expected to be firm for soyoil and by proxy palm oil prices will sustain

BAT was impacted by rampant cheap cigarettes smuggling from Indonesia illegally

Whereas Dlady is impacted by rampant set up of other similar Milk producing Enterprize at lower cost

Both will eventually collapse just like Kodak, Rank Xerox and other old dinosaur industries
