No need to sing song on the price of goods increases due to GST. The price of goods rises partly due to removal of subsidies long enjoyed by the previous generations. Partly it was due to inflation. Partly it is due to the economy cycle. Just don't farking blame everything on GST.

The current generation have to bear the responsibility to clear all the debt accumulated on the subsidies given to the previous generations. As the present generation, we don't want our future generation to foot our current debt on the subsidies also.

Pak Lah was the first to attempt to remove the subsidies after he took over from Tun M. When he attempted, our people cannot take it. The subsidies was like a morphine to the society already. This short term pain & struggles, we just have to get it through and complete the "rehabilitation" program. We should not go back to the addiction on the subsidies.

The donation in billion value into PM's personal account as political fund. Are we really independent if really this is political fund ? Or are our country controlled by foreign force indirectly?.

Actually on the broader geo-political view, I'm ok with the project. At least the present government are taking a step ahead to cushion the Kra Canal project impact.

The Kra Canal is workable & can be financed easily by China. If the Kra Canal project materialized ( Panama & Suez canal have been successfully built by human) , Singapore will be the first one to bungkus and Port Klang will follow from behind.

The center of maritime will be shifted too Thailand. Malaysia & Singapore who have been enjoying the control over the shipping route at Strait of Malacca will impacted heavily.

At present, the Kra Canal is facing resistant from Thailand peoples also, like wise in our country, there is always certain quarters will object on the proposal.

At least with the ECRL, it will provide some alternative to Kra Canal.

Only the cost of the project need to be justified. At the moment, none of the both political divide have come out to defend why the cost is justify or why the cost is not justify in details.

BN male , PH female, irregardless what party or criteria, he will choose male. other no need to assess.

candidate's party: BN or PH. He put PH as priority. if BN male, PH male, he go for PH. If BN male, PH female, he go for BN. (male preference got veto power).

candidate's religion: muslim or non-muslim. He will opt for muslim over non-muslim. if BN male muslim , PH male non-muslim - he will go BN , he want his leader to be a muslim. If both also muslim, he will go PH.

candidate's locality : local or non-local, preference to local candidate

candidate's education background : businessman / degree holder / professional background favored over non-degree/ non-professional.

Candidate's age : preference over middle age & above.

at least he got mechanism to select, hahahaha but I advised him that he better don't get involve with politic, that will be blessing to our country & himself, lol

Extend it to growth investing, do not get blinded by the high PE on the quality counter. Look for PEG. The high PE on quality counter is always the psychology barrier to the prevent FA investor to take position on high quality counter. Dynaquest publication shall be able to give your the insight on what is known as the quality counter. If you cannot break through this barrier, forever the high PE at a glance will discourage you from owning the quality counter like Harta, Inari, Gtronic, Vitrox, Penta, VS etc

When you have successfully built up your portfolio & capital on the growth investing, try to extend it to CW play. Not every counter can be applied to CW play.

Treat it like running a real business. CW is a leverage play, you take leverage position only when the business is making money & market is recognizing the business. You do not leverage when you think your business should be good but market not recognizing it. Market recognition is an analogy to the TA.

Example of real business expansion & shrinking. When your business is good, you expand your branch by taking borrowing from bank. In the share investing context, you take a heavier position. If the business if not generating money & market not refuse to recognize your business even though you think it should be a hits, you close the shop / deleverage. In share investing context, you reduce your exposure.

It is the same analogy for the strategy of average up & down. Why people say average up is always a better strategy vs average down. The same concept was shared by a friend of mine doing the online business. He pays for the google ads to get the sales. The ads that did not bring conversion of sales, he cut & reduce it. The ads that generates sales, he advertise more to generate more sales to magnify his profits.

A lot of investing concept can be inspired by the thing happening surrounding us. Don't set the boundary & limit ourselves.

CW is an offensive play, they take position because of the expectation of better future earning. During the period of August to Dec 17, that was the most ideal period. Now coming to end Feb 18, post result Q4 17, say the result also sibek superb. Are you going to hold it into Q1 18 knowing the uncertainty of shutdown & current deteriorating crack spread ? How are you going to sell if most of ppl have my kind of thinking ?

Remember, you cannot play CW like fundamental play / die die hold. CWs are constrained by the expiry date.
