I doubt it. They were buying heavily when it was above 1.30 for many years. At one of the AGMs( I believe in 2014), Francis even claimed they were competing with the EPF in buying because they wanted the lion's share of the dividend to 'stay in the family'.

They are all praying HARD for a sudden drop below 1.18 to save their skins =)

Foreigners trust ppl like Francis Yeoh more than the politicians here...just like in Japan, where their sheer firepower pushed the stock index to 33-year highs, just a bit of re-rating by them can offset epf selling by 10-fold or more! Anyway the last time it was above $1 was Jun '20, not that long ago... not a big issue with just a tiny drop of the billions of US$ leaving the overvalued US markets.
