Thank goodness I don't have to be dependent on this cowboy mkt to earn my daily income. Today, that comes from selling Suruga Bank in Japan for 521 yen despite the bad timing of buying for 443 yen on the eve of the Silicon valley banking implosion!

I also bought this co. b4 when it was called Psiptek & played 3 rounds back in 2013/2014 & 2017. Luckily never kept a single share after my final sale of that doomed stock in '17 & never bought back because it fell off my radar.

That's the point with these ultra-speculatives. Be prepared for wide fluctations & don't put a lot in.

Speculatively bought some Bahvest @ 12.5c...Q there early in the morning, but never expected that I would get it...

There is no online platform so far. Through various IBs(eg Maybank), you can do old-fashioned fax order to KL which will call a broker in Tokyo to execute your order. Only Jpn nationals can do online trading, so us foreigners have to put up with this system for a while... Regardless, I've managed to earn on 36 Japanese stocks so far with the 6th Anniversary of my first trade there coming up in July & Jpnese dividend income is up to 15-20% of total dividends this year.

That's why I allocated more than 20% of my capital to Japan...I started there in 2017, two years before WBuffett started to notice great values in those islands. Yesterday, one of those undervalued stocks(AIDA Engineering) which I bought for ¥ 799.7 around GE time last yr, finally hit a 52-wk high of ¥ 882 after already paying a ¥ 30 dividend...

Really helps my morale when this cowboy mkt entered a BEAR in 2018 which has never really ended apart from brief P&Ds in '20-'21.

Aberdeen wants to DUMP out...don't buy from them...Q @ $1.20.

@ teareader818: If LFM did not sell in the crash to 21.5c, then it's likely to go back to the middling area of its previous trading range. If he did, then more likely to meander under 27c for some time. Just my own opinion. The market is always highly unpredictable in the shortest timeframes.

Back in the early days of the US markets, this is how robber barons enhanced their fortunes: they shorted a stock & cancelled a prior contract they made with that co. causing the price to plummet. Once they had covered their shorts, they went long on the stock & reinstated the contract lol
