 Since end of June 2014, IFCAMSC’s share price has been riding on bulls from RM0.125 to all-time high of RM1.87 on 20 May 2015, building a strong long-term uptrend line. Recent retracement from all-time high presents a good trading opportunity as the stock is grossly oversold and begins to stage a technical rebound (sign of resumption of long-term uptrend).  Share price has been well-supported by 100-d SMA for the past 1 year (refer daily chart). Thus, we opine that recent retracement has ended given that price was able to hold above the 100-day SMA (RM1.31) and started to resume its long-term uptrend as daily oscillators begin to bottom out. Moreover, widening Bollinger band and bullish oscillators (RSI, MACD and Slow Stochastics) on hourly chart show strong buying momentum.  In tandem with potential technical rebound view on ACE market, we are targeting RM1.56 (10-d SMA) and RM1.68, with a long-term objective of RM1.87 (all-time high). Immediate supports are pegged at RM1.45. Cut loss below RM1.40.

TARGET PRICE BY CIMB REDUCE TO 2.44 FROM 3.06

Stock

1Q hit by forex losses
Thong Guan’s 1QFY15 net profit, at 53% annualised, was below market and
our expectations as its earnings was hit by realised forex losses and also lower
revenue contribution from Japan, its largest market. We cut our FY15-17 EPS
forecasts to reflect slower sales from Japan and forex losses. Our target price
also falls based on unchanged 30% discount to its fully-diluted SOP. Potential
re-rating catalysts are EBITDA margin recovery and sales recovery from
Japan market. The stock remains an Add.
1Q15 net profit down due to realised forex loss
Although Thong Guan’s 1Q15 revenue was only down 9.6% yoy, its 1Q15 net
profit was down 45% yoy, mainly due to forex losses – RM3.4m realised and
RM0.8m unrealised. The lower revenue was mainly due to lower average
selling prices (due to the fall in crude oil prices) and softer sales from Japan.
No interim dividend was declared, in line with our expectations. Excluding the
realised and unrealised forex losses, Thong Guan’s 1Q15 EBITDA margin was
7.0%, just slightly lower than 1Q14’s 7.1%. It is impressive that the company can
sustain its EBITDA margin in 1Q15 on the back of lower revenue. We believe
this was possible as the weaker Ringgit helped, in terms of lowering labour and
electricity costs as most of its revenue was denominated in US$.
Weaker Japan sales
Sales from its biggest market, Japan (accounts for ~30% of revenue), declined
in 1Q15, mainly due to slower demand starting from Apr as sales tax increased
from 5% to 8%. By Oct 2015, sales tax will rise to 10%. We understand that
higher sales taxes were needed in Japan to cover the rising social welfare costs
for its aging population. This country has one of the world’s lowest birth rates
and the world's highest ratio of elderly to young people. This raised concerns
about its long-term economic growth.
Debt-free balance sheet
Thong Guan’s balance sheet featured RM2m net cash as at end-Mar. There
were no major capex in 1Q15. Its capex was RM28.9m in 2014 and RM15.4m in
2013. We estimate that the company will invest RM100m in total over
2014-2016 to raise its annual production capacity from 120,000 tonnes to
170,000 tonnes, main focus on thin stretch films and PVC food wrap films.

Microsoft revenue booster
We deem 1QFY15’s net profit, at an annualised 22% of our full-year forecast,
to be broadly in line with market and our expectations as we see stronger
earnings from 2Q15 onwards with contracts like IC Citizen and 3P having
only just started. We maintain our EPS and target price, which is pegged to
19.2x FY16 P/E, which is at a 20% premium over our target P/E for the sector
to reflect the potential earnings boost from its private placement proceeds.
The stock remains an Add. Potential catalysts include securing the PAP project
and the major recurring income project, both likely sometime in 2H15.
1QFY15’s net profit up 122% qoq
Prestariang’s 1Q15 revenue was up 222% qoq, while net profit growth was a
slower 122%. The high qoq revenue and profit growth was mainly due to low
base effects as 4Q14 was the worst performing quarter last year. The higher
1Q15 revenue growth was also due to maiden revenue from the MLA2.0
contract won by the company in Jan 15. MLA2.0 involves the distribution of
Microsoft software to all government agencies over the next three years. We
estimate the Microsoft contract will contribute RM160m-180m to the top line
this year, with a net profit margin of 10%, compared to the higher 30-40%
profit margin from training work. The company declared a 0.75 sen interim
DPS (90% dividend payout ratio), in line with our expectations.
3P and IC Citizen started in 2Q15
Work on the 3P and IC Citizen project finally started again in 2Q15, after the
delays in 2014. On the PISA Accelerated Training Project (PAP), Prestariang
remains in commercial negotiations with the government and expects to
finalise the deal in 2H15. PAP could be worth RM400m-500m, if not higher,
over the next few years. Prestariang is also working on a major recurring
income strategic project which it is targeting to finalise in 2H15.
Healthy balance sheet
Prestariang’s balance sheet showed a net cash of RM123.6m (RM0.26 net cash/
share) as at end-Mar 15. Net cash would have been higher if not for the higher
receivables of RM51.8m (RM18.5m in end-Dec). We believe the higher
receivables relate to MLA2.0 sales, which the company should be able to collect
fully in 2Q15. We hope to get further clarity on new developments on the
company’s various projects at its briefing tomorrow morning.

Support trendline is now the resistance level
The share price decline in the past week did some damage to IFCA’s uptrend.
IFCA’s share price broke below its major support trendline of RM1.71 (refer to
Figure 1), and the RM1.71 level is now the resistance line for the stock. While
weekly MACD did not show signs of negative divergence, RSI did. In addition,
weekly MACD has turned negative, which is likely an indication of medium
term consolidation.
