Stock market always fluid, and difficult to predict, agree?
Have been reading your blog and your suggestions are mostly accurate, except for a few stocks.

What is your advice for a regular khaki who still lose around 10% of his portfolio and hope to recover it back? Most of the shares were bought based on TA and FA when they are low, but some never recover and remain low, e.g. YTL-p, Fajar, RCE, etc.

Lately, some analyst were pointing out the present market charts look like in 1997, 2008, before market turns down.

Please comment on the above.

In Share Investor Magazine, malaysia, this month, one analyst mentioned that the rising wedge formation is a herald of a downturn. It happened in 1997, 2008,and may happen in 2012 ?

Any truth, or opinion on this matter ? Thanks.

Good write up in the Star,Sat. Coastal is among the list of good companies by Forbes magazine, with good eps, dps, roe, etc.

RHB recognia software value this stock at higher price. I believe if below 2 ringgit can buy and keep till it goes up.

I believe IJM-wc at below 1.40 is better buy as it is lower than the price at Nov 2010. Also if one patient, Gamuda-wd below 94cents.

You are good to make money. Even using TA and FA, I still make losses!. What criteria do you use to be able to make profit. Care to share ?

Maybe we have to change mindset, buying low price counter, like JCY and hope to go higher.eg RCE at 44 cents, never move yet.

One Seminar speaker recommends that we buy up trending stocks as this is supported by institutions and thus can go higher , like AEON, TM etc. Agree ?

Also from Personal Money, returns from REIT is good around 20 %. One share that has gone down alot also is Fajar -Wa !!

Using T3B system, can buy if go above resistance of 1.31. hope it can go up beyond 1.40.

Theoretically, price should go up as they manufacture much needed land at strategic places. Funds have bought at around 1.38. hopefully can go up to the TP of Inv Banks.

If not mistaken, it went down to low 37 cents. however, those YTL holders get it at 20 cents, so it might go lower than 37 cents.

Would you consider Pres Bhd, BIMB as one of it ?

Coastal at support ?

Maybe can consider Coastal, as it has fallen from above 2.00 to less than 1.80. Value investing wise, it is good to have this share.

Fundamentally, RCE capital is good, but it is very slow, same like ECM being taken over by Kenanga.

Lastly, maybe can consider Pantech, PE and DY still good.

Food busines is OK. Hope it can go past 60 cents. At least it gives dividends.

By the way, on fundamentals alone, rce capital and coastal not bad as China Co shunned by traders. OSK covers Multi sports as PE is low.

Yes, I even bought at 1.46, 8k as it was highly recommended by Fund managers !!

Can go to 1.46 before encountering resistance.

The company has good fundamentals being in the food business and expanding factories in Seremban. PE is around 2x. I bought it due to reco from my remisciers. Hope I can profit before its price drop.

People dont like China based company due to its dubious accounting, like the case of XDL. Hope it is like CSL lah!!

After Coastal,call warrants expired, price went up. Genting Malaysia also like that, price depressed like anything, but after expiry on 30/4, price went up higher.

So watch out for BIMB-cb, merchant bank will depress price till maturity on 18/5, then maybe BIMB price will shoot up like Takaful!!

Still has potential to go higher, maybe till 2.50 as this is a good fundamental share in Oil and Gas and potential in Merger and Acquisition target, like Kenanga taking over ECm !!

Lots of forumers say issuing bank try to lower prices so less to pay out when it matures. Hav experienced great losses due to call warrants as compared to ord shares. Ord shares can wait it out when price falls, call warrants expire to nothing, but gain for the bankers!!
Be careful when close to expiry as zero value if mother price lower than exercise price.

Bought for quite some time before bonus, but price keep on dropping. stock reco by Dali, m'sian finance blogspot.

Price down maybe 'cos no dividends, even tho PE is low, also small capital, so funds cannot buy.

I guess have to hold.

have bought Gold funds before, after 87 crash. Also bought AmBank Precious metals fund, but lost after investing for more than a year.
IMO, better to buy Gold shares like Poh Kong, Tomei. P I Capital always analyse Gold Price. Personal Money also has articles on Gold Investment.

If less uncertainty, Gold price may drop. however if Iran attacked by Israel, or Euro in crisis due to Spain, Italy debts problems, Gold may go up!!
