Sometimes, when you are disappointed with a stock, and sells it, then it goes up!! Happens to me when I just recently sold Malton, then it went up.
Ruberex is showing some strength, hope it will touch more than 70 cents.
Most Glove counters showing profits.

Hi Guys,
- will you believe, someone just heard of Mr Ooi Teik Bee reco on KHSB and bought at 48 cents yesterday, and sold today , profit around few thousands!! Mr Ooi promotes Sharesxpert system to gain advantage from any market. I have just enrolled for the system.
Having subscribed to T3B system before, this system is simpler and they have weekly meeting at KL. As an investor we must have certain advantage in order to win the market. Even after using TA and FA, my trades dont go my way and become Long Term Investor !!
We all should learn to cut loss, be careful of playing call warrants and choose the stocks you are confident with. For e.g. RHB screener has a fundamental section, and it says SKP Resources at 34 cents is very good. Public Inv Bank says MKLand is good and despite 38 cents, gave 1 cent dividend.
Hope my sharing will benefit you all as I am just a small player with exposure since 1978.

Have full confidence in Mr OOi. He came all the way to Melaka to share his knowledge and gave valuable insights on the market.
Bought KHSB at 61 cents, thinking that was a good price. After the price fall, have to average down.
Be patient and wait for takeover, at around 75 cents maybe can take profit.

Dear Mr OOi,
Would appreciate your comment on how you see market reaction when announcement of Parlaiment dissolved ( say Feb 22 ). From what I gathered, most Funds do not like uncertainty, so there will be a fall.
Voting rumoured to be on 30 th March.
As a player from 1978, I agree that contra play is very dangerous as market swings unexpectedly in the short period. To expect to make lots of money, say >30% per year, DY of >10% is too much, but yet at a recent T3B System forum, that is what young people wants!!
On that note, is it wise to sell off Non performing shares tho at a big loss now, and with that money concentrate on active shares which have fallen after dissolution of parlaiment, and make up for the loss. Eg-(Losers-- Rce capital, Fajar-WA,Malton, etc) . Active - Pres Bhd,Pantech, etc.
Can we base our buying selling on Feng Shui, as it says second half better? In 2008, mkt rebounded after 6-9 mths from election.
Thank You.

Thanks KCChong, for your very informative and lengthy reply. Wish there are lots of forumers with good informative discussions.
I have been playing call warrants too, and learning by paying the price for being too bullish, having made huge losses on Genting and Bursa call warrants. However, made small gains thru Axiata and Dialog call warrants. Now betting on Air Asia and DRB call warrants.
Wct -wb was trading at a discount to its mother and thus good for arbitrage, but not now.
Now the million dollar question is how market will react after announcement of election day. Should we sell all our portfolio at a loss now, since it will probably fall even further, OR hang on , average down , and after recovery , then only sell.?
Fund Managers tends to think China will do well, so run to China market and leave KLSE until results known, ha, ha ha,!!

Bought at 1.37 and have seen it fall to 1.01. Best action is to average down and sell when profitable.
Of course if you compare to Pintaras as analysed by Kcchong, Pintaras is better as it has minimal debts.

Kcchongnz, you have really done a wonderful job of explaining why ROE, and Free Cash Flow is impt in analysing Companies.
With that in mind, if you done mind, please share the listed companies that you think have lots of potential, besides K..Fima, Pintaras.
Is DRB, Air Asia,Ornapaper in your list ? What do you think of companies that have spent millions to upgrade their plants, but sadly do not give any dividends,e.g. Orna.
Thank You.

It touch low for today, at .065. Many bought at 8 cents. It does give dividends. Heard that it is a CNY play, but have yet to materialize. Anybody care to comment on this share ? Thanks.

Bought at 1.37, wait till ard 1.11, then ave down.
Good fundamentals, worth the wait for this land manufacturer. One of Mr Ooi's stock.

Entered at 71 using T3B System, but sold off too early, at 80 cents.
Fundamentally, not very strong, but technically, it is on uptrend, meaning something is brewing, otherwise people wont pay 90 over cents for this.
I should think at this price, QL maybe a better bet.

I am in Melaka, and very long time never go to KL or PJ. Kindly give a website address or e mail to me. Does Mr Chin, who is responsible for outstationers, knows about this system too.?
My e mail is: ebh777@yahoo.com.
Thanks, and appreciate greatly your help as I have been losing my capital for most times.

Thank You for your sharing, Albert Lim.
Your strategy is very good, especially to buy on dips,e.g. Telco drop, Bright, went down alot, then buy.
For speculative stocks, do you mean you only buy when directors buying ? RCE Capital, Azman buying lots, but never go up, but down !!
For high DY stocks, when it falls, it is better to average down.

bro Kah,
FYI, I have just done what you mentioned and hope that after the 10 working days needed to change WCT-WB to mother , I can get some profit.
You should note also that Mudajaya-CH, a call warrant CW is undervalued as it is at a slight discount to its mother shares with one month to go. It could be worth a try if, you are daring and understand call warrants risk. In this case the difference is settled by cash, rather than by conversion. You have to pay RM20 as admin fee upon maturity of CW.

Albert Lim, if you dont mind, can you please share with us, what strategy did you take that you got a fantastic return. What was your initial capital ?
Even Kenanga Growth Fund, a top performer, only gained ard 4%, as I bought some Unit Trust from them.
As an investor playing shares from 1980's and seeing ups and downs, it is definitely not easy to be consistent in making profits. Often times we hope to get Ang Pow, but the market takes the Ang Pows from you!! The mistake that I made is not cutting on losses, and selling too early good shares.
i. blue chips - Maybank
ii small caps - Pantech/ supermax ( glove sector good )
iii speculative - Luster, Priva
iv undervalued - Coastal, WTK ( thousand acres concession)
v Dividend Paying --Wellcall, MSNiaga. ( I feel better DY around FD rate of 3%, but with growth compared to high DY, but little growth, e.g JTI.Better is PresBhd- O & G sector )

Thank You Mentor Ooi for the reply. From chartnexus charts, Plantation shares on rebound. Can we use Tech Analysis, e.g. RSI to gauge which shares can rebound faster? Sometimes, a share after Break Peak, more often than not, it retraced back, e.g. PresBhd.
Before plantation downturn, R Sawit and TSH are investors favourites. Thus, worth to try these two shares ? Your opinion is highly valued.

Luster, as part of restructuring has bought over companies in plastic moulding in Melaka, that has guaranteed profit. Thus you can see that it has made two quarters of consecutive profits and applied for uplifting of PN17.
Latest eps is around 5cents if I am not wrong. It has very strong support at around 10 cents and I only managed to buy at around 10.5 cents.
Please be quick, as they say, - buy on rumours, sell on news. TH Heavy engineering has its PN 17 uplifted, but the share price dropped!! So, kalau make little profit, better to run and fight for another day.!!

Title is promising warrant. Does it mean call warrants issued by Brokers, or Company issued warrants ?
Buying call warrants cheaply when underlying share is very oversold can be advantageous.,e.g. Air Asia -CW at one cent.( 1 sen only )The most you lose is RM100 for 10k. However, if Air Asia recovered during the time before maturity, you can make a bit. However, one has to be informed and know how to evaluate the call warrants.
For company warrants, IJM-WC at RM1.18 and Gamuda-WD at 0.95 could be a good choice and it is oversold. IJM has got Properties, Plantations, and tolls plus construction works.

For 2012, I think I made some losses, maybe around 10 % from playing call warrants after the mother shares dropped .eg. Genting and Bursa, and not having the courage to cut losses, e.g. Fajar, Tong Herr, Digistar, YTL-Power, etc. Thus I became a long term investor !!
However, after attending T3B System, learnt the importance of cut loss to preserve capital. From the points given by Mr OOi, I think the advice given is very profound and useful, especially No 7. After using FA with TA, then only get some small gains, e.g. buying Air Asia at low before break peak, Prlexus and selling when TA shows overbought.
At this Forum, I think should be good if we mention specific stocks, like undervalued, growth stocks. Using RHB recognia system, many shares are deemed undervalued and have returns of over 100%, but they hardly moved, like Coastal, WTK, etc.
2013 would be more challenging as there are more uncertainties, but as most analysts mention, O & G, Telcos and Construction should be considred, especially those really at rock bottom due to election risk,e.g. IJM-wc at all time low and Gamuda -WD. Just my opinion.
As for speculative stocks, can try abit only, like Luster and Priva. Any comments.

Possible that they want a share swap, so that they can use all the billions in YTL Power. So YTL have to have a higher value, and ytl-p a lower value.
When i bought at 64 cents, I tot it was the lowest, until it dropped to 37 cents. We have to learn to cut loss when 5 - 8 % down, tho it is painful.

Is it worth to go in now at 39 cents ? Will mother price holds after we convert, since it will take at least 10 working days !!
Last time, TMS mother was at high price, warrant at low price, by the time convert, the mother price dropped like a 10 tonne brick !! In the end mother price and warrant price, not much difference.

Why the eps drop from 8 cents to 4 cents, due to larger no of shares ?
2012-11-18 22:28 | Report Abuse
Let us hope that will happen, so that TM-cu go higher as mother go higher.
By the way, Star article mentioned competition among Telcos great, and growth ltd. Only Axiata has growth as it has overseas companies compared to the rest, only localised.
So that is why Axiata rebounded faster, and could be worth to enter cautiously.

One thing that is puzzling is, why suddenly all the selling in telco stocks? Not only that most blue chips too. Is Foreign Funds selling because
" they know something about market that we do not know"?
Maybe it is best to let the falling knife come to a stop first and see a rebound before buying. Anyway, seldom do we see the tech indicators of this telco go so low !!

do you think the price of 38 cents will hold , look at the mother share price, very low and not moving?
If based on yield better to buy Malton loan or Pantech loan where interest is much higher and growth rate is more. Or you can invest in Bonds where the gain per year is better than 5.3%
2012-11-08 16:19 | Report Abuse
nobody in the right mind will take the offer of RCPS, this you can see at the price quote where shares are offered free !!Never before has this happen !!
Also the price of 30 cents is the lowest for the year, so somebody really want the price to be low so he can mop up the shares.
Anyway, personally I am waiting to sell this no use share after holding for a very long, long time!! just my opinion.

From the charts, we see that it has strong support at 1.80 and consolidating. Recently it started to go up with volume, showing that someone is accumulating, maybe due to good results, or possible M & A as it is in O & G sector.
RHB recognia, gives a rate of return of 130 percent, which is one of the highest return in their fainancial analysis system.
FYI , not everyone has alot of money, so they buy in 1 or 2 lots, people like me with very small capital.
This is a well managed company as I can see after reading their annual report and the price for conversion of their warrant is higher than RM2 ringgit. Other companies in oil and Gas like perisai, Alam, etc has moved , but not Coastal. For sure, can go above RM2.00!! look at analyst TP in i3 portal and you will know !!

I bought at 64 cents and belum lagi recover, have to be long term investor!!

Mr Ooi is a seasoned market player, and thus we make decisions on our own after hearing his facts. Personally, my friends and I have bought some KHSB at 67.5 cents and patiently waiting. We are positive that the deal will go through. No risk, no gain lah. We dont blame anyone , it is our own decision.
RHB has a fundamental software called recognia, and it gives a more than 100% rate of return on L&G. Did you notice it has already started to move ?Lots of property counters have already moved, and it is a matter of time before L&G, Mkland start to move.
To make money from the market, we must have something better than the rest, such as T3B System, ShareXPert, TA, etc, then our chances of making profit higher. We should appreciate Mr Ooi , who is willing to share valuable tips to i3 investors, despite not getting anything monetary in return.
