As for Japan, it makes sense to travel due to the limited land available in their highly populated cities which makes housing expensive and travel tickets cheaper. But in Malaysia the situation is the opposite. Why go so far ? Just compare the prices of ticket for the ERL and KLIA transit. That will give you some indication on the ticket prices for ECRL and HSR.

Past few dividends (except Special) has been 4 sen but now drop by 25% to 3 sen. Even though 1 sen is no big deal but look at the sudden change. Exercise caution.

IJM is in good position to get jobs from successful bidders even if IJM did not win. That's why analyst favour this stock. But their profit from these jobs may be lower as the costs of construction is going up.

I am attracted to this stock for the EPS. Stocks with this sort of price and EPS have given me profit before. While the past is not conclusive, the fundamentals make me want to invest in this stock.

I think a company like this should be lucky with a +ve EPS. The business growth seems stagnant.
