Based on the EPS records for previous year, look it should be no problem to maintain profit FY2014=6.83 SEN, FY2013=19.62 SEN, FY2012=19.45 SEN, FY2011=19.68 SEN and FY2010=24.58 SEN. FY2014 is low because of payment one off to retrenched employee. From 2nd quarter results, it should be able to generate consistent profit of more than 14 sen i.e. EPS > 14 sen in the later years.

It is time to go big to buy. Look like the business & profit is stabilized at this level though is lower than previous day. The share at 1.50 is reasonable if the profit maintain at around this figure. I jump in too slow but manage to buy quite a number at average of about 1.17. Media Prima always maintain good dividend payout & has strong & healthy balance.

Be careful of all the China companies counter. You need to experience it to feel the pain. They all have very beautiful balance sheet but the share price will keep drop. Wait for another two years, your money will remain less than half if you are luck, it is likely that the share price will be less than 20% as compared to today.

They are very forceful persons , in particular, Mr Koon Yew Yin. We should highlight to them that MARCO has strong and healthy balance sheet without bank borrowing and with huge amount of cash and bank deposit in hand, in additional, the profit (EPS) is also high in Q1 2015.

All China company accounting has problem may be due to their accounting method, there is no way to evaluate because you cannot trust their financial accounting statement. Like chonghai, I also advise everyone to stay away from china company, they are cheating malaysian money.

Based on the EPS of 48 sen and strong & healthy balance sheet, this counter should be more than RM4.00. Keep until it goes up to > RM4.00 before you sell.

The problem for the company with high gearing will perform badly during bad time compare to those companies with very low gearing. And it share price normally unable to sustain over few months period. I always get burnt when buying company with high gearing, as such I will avoid this counter.

I entered the market again at average 3.85 (8000 unit shares) eventhough I sold earlier at average 3.60, is a bit expensive but feel that is worth for long term investment inview of strong earning and 10% dividend just announced in the Q4 2015 report. .

ks55, I agreed with your comments. The price goes up because of 3rd quarter 2015 results are good but the dividend is low and this does not imply that all quarters results will be good. As such it is not suitable for long term investment. The up is because of sentiment and speculation. Those who borrow to buy will get burn.

Probably most of directors are old and conservative. Attend AGM and request them to resign. Replace with young, aggressive and ambitious entrepreneurs.

Remember that Marco has cash and bank deposits of more than RM75.00 Million with zero (0.00) bank borrowings. With this strong and healthy balance sheet as at end of 1st quarter 2015 March. in the long run, you will get your return back. The market sentiment is bad now. When market return to normal, the dividend will increase again. It is good that the dividend for financial year is only 2%, so if for financial 2015 is 10%, you will get a total of 12% within 15 months.

Magni is not generous in giving out dividend. This is a shortcoming and weakness of Magni. As I depend a lot on dividend for my expenses.
