Cap A share price should increase, the fact is , this exercise will

1. unlock potential for the remaining business in Cap A , able to get funds
2. no debts, zero debts , not a PN17 company
3. whatever aviation debts transfer to AAX
4. let AAX focus solely on aviation , Cap A on its diversification

The rule of thumb is , nobody will sell at cost or make a lost , usually the price will be bumped up

But , should wait for how much AAX is offering to buy. What if 0.85 ?

How China - USA trade war can affect steel companies like AnnJoo ?

It's a good business i think. They are provide oil field services, which they use local labor and charge global rates. These services could be exploration or production. Maybe exploration is lesser , but production is always ongoing. Then they also sell equipment from OEM, and can take a cut from there.

I am doubtful if monsoon is affecting Dayang, unless it cause damage to their assets. The rigs still need to be maintain as per plan, if monsoon strike, they will defer the job, but the business is still there (possibly already paid).

The fundamental of Dayang is based on being able to secure maintenance jobs. The close links to Petronas is key. Essentially, Dayang strength in Borneo is ability to get cheap skilled labor who can do the jobs efficiently in the rigs and good operations of their lease supply vessels.
