I have particularly studied the operations of concessionaires, its financing arrangement, the accounting treatments & cashflow during & after construction period.

The cases studied were Cypark, Plus, Litrak, MFCB & Ekovest. Overall, it is interesting stories to read.

I studied MFCB when price was still at RM2, knew their dam construction & power plant story but didn't make any purchase because I was busy buying Ekovest warrant,

I sold all other stocks (steel stocks & Yee Lee) & sailang to Ekovest warrant at that time.

Reason: Ekovest future was very clear but not sure MFCB after completion of dam construction. Revenue from sales of energy is not visible.

Lessons learned: MFCB & JAKS proved that what are going on are more important than what is going to happen 3 years later.

Hi MrPauper, I sold all Ssteel at above RM1.50 & switch to AWC when AWC price went down to RM0.94 on the same period.

Pakatan also never try to penetrate rural or kampung area, how to win? This is their weakest link, I guess they knew that but not much improvement can be seen after so many years.

I don't see any one can stop BN wins, oppositions just too weak & can't hope.

Everyone in pakatan have their own agendas & cannot work as a team, really disappointed with their performance lately. A 30 years old proton saga with 3 drivers at different seats, all want to drive the car but all at different directions

Ekovest Bhd has submitted a proposal to become a development partner of Bandar Malaysia, said managing director Datuk Lim Keng Cheng.

“They [Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd] are requesting proposals from local developers to identify development partners for the project, and we have submitted our proposal,” Lim told reporters after the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) today.

“We will participate in the project if we have the opportunity. We are not ruling out any possibilities,” he said, adding that the outcome of the proposal submissions would be disclosed next year.

The 486-acre development in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur is a mega project with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM200 billion.

Due to Ekovest’s executive chairman and substantial shareholder Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo’s stake in Bandar Malaysia, the directors have, at the 31st AGM today, proposed a renewal of shareholders’ mandate for recurrent related party transactions to pave the way for the company’s participation in the Bandar Malaysia development, he said, adding that the resolution was subsequently approved.
