I heard this story before, in fact, many many times. That's why it is illegal to influence people to buy certain counter based on tips or rumour isn't ? If I'm not mistaken, there is a very severe penalty if an individual found guilty doing so. That's why - don't ask for tips, don't give tips. Discuss the thread title constructively for learning purposes.

Just would like to ask something here, when you guys play warrants, did you ever consider the followings:-

1) how many other players do you estimate who know how evaluate the price of warrant in this particular "pond"? or blindly follow only because it is high risk high gain, no risk no gain?

2)say if most of crowd here do not know how to evaluate the price properly, do you expect opponent would buy at the price you think is a fair value by tracking the mother price?

3)say the crowd in the pond don't buy at fair valuation tracking the movement of mother share, will the issuer bank buy back their warrant in a fair valuation for market making purpose?

4)what if issuer bank don't even bother to buy back? who is going to buy the volume ?

Think think before playing with fire. Put warrant is not popular in KLSE. If you play put-warrant at SGX,HKSE or NYSE, still got some hope.

It gonna be a commercial development. You might need to hunt down the consultant team (Architect,C&S,M&E & QS) who are doing planning for the 1MDB, they got the 1st hand information, normally they don't speak much to keep the info P&C. If consultant team don't speak, hunt down the vendors / suppliers. Project of this scale, they need help from vendors/ suppliers in cost estimation. Those who are in the construction line know how to hunts for this information.

After they disposed their Permanis business to Asahi last year, only DOE Industries & Potex Industries are left in their business structure. I don't think there will be a good dividend so soon until they have decide their next business acquisition & start grooming the business.

I trust no free reviews by IBs quite some time ago after finding out there is chances where the review will be biased.

For instance, if an IB is going to give a negative review on a counter, chances for that IB to be hire by the counter for the future underwriting will be at stake. Imagine you are bad mouth at your boss, do you think you'll hire again in future? That's the reason why most of the IBs try not to give too much negative reviews on companies out there.

So think twice again what you are reading, you'll need to do final verification on what people say.

average up is one of a good strategy, much more better than average down in my opinion. the important issue is, hoyt is making money by averaging up even though the % of gain is reduce but it is still gain. not many people can do that psychologically while worrying the gain % being reduced

Quite a big improvement in EPS for the last 2 quarters. Hope the earning is sustainable.Worth to spend some time to dig into their annual reports & will follow their earning result this coming August.

There is some discussion on this counter initiated by klsetracker.com recently, I received the email invitation but didn't participate. If you read Share Investment Magazine July 2012 issued, this counter is under the shortlist of the highest dividend yield counter under Consumer Product. I didn't bother to follow up after I read their products range at their official website.

The price have stabilize around RM17.90 ~ 18.00 for quite some time since mid of June 2012, earning report scheduled on 15th August 2012 should be the catalyst to determine the price direction in the near term

So daring, what if after buy it starts to collapse ? instead of making duit kopi , duit bulanan terbakar. Just don't take this nonsense risk - totally not a risk worth to take. More like gambling not investing
