To those "good hearted" advisers sifus asking people to throw this counter at this price, you are wasting your time here.

All those newbies, all those short term investors..are practically flushed out d. All that can go already gone

Whoever are left here are those seasoned old birds investors, they know what they are doing, their strategy and they have the holding power as well as the bullets to buy more if the price further dips to a more attractive value. In their mind, they already have an intrinsic value based on the fundamentals of this counter

If you try to knock their shares off by saying it will go back to pre-pandemic level, you must be kidding as well, i doubt they will buy it, maybe it will work on newbies, but not on whoever is left here.

Whether your advise is genuinely " good heart" to advise them ? Very doubtful, or just to make fun of them to get a kick out of it while the price is depressed, they are not going to let go of their shares based on your views or analysis, coz they know what they are getting into and hv done their homework as well. Maybe they are off in their analysis, but they will say "so what", "I can hold and don't mind waiting for the next catalyst". The future is always your guess is as good as mine.

The only way for this group to let go of their shares is an increase in price. All other noise is just BS to them , or for entertainment.

Just my 2 cents..reading thru all the post here.

Genting closed la ..for 3 months

After reading all sifus comments here, some positive, some negative, and edge articles..my conclusion is nobody is certain what the final outcome will be.

Personally my take is 60 : 40, with slight advantage to KPMG. Yours may differ and its ok as each his own.

If Karim is right, the payoff could be more than double, more than 100%, up to 1.30 or more. If KPMG findings of irregularities proved to be true, then the loss is may be 50% to 70% down to 0.20. Of course this is only my estimates.

Since Casino de Genting is closed, and 4D also closed, decided to put a small wager here. For me, this is a small bet, not investment. Hopefully Karim will bring us good luck. If loose, treat it like bet "big" open "small".

Actually OMO... EPF and KWAP sells due to margin call .....past few days no announcement of any disposal of SD shares from ANY of them or internal Top 30 shareholders.

Bought some cheap flight pass for RM500 x 5 pax in 2019, they ask me to waive and write off, did not even bother to file proof of debt, file also no use, at the end, burnt

Not only retailers got trapped, many funds themselves also got trapped.

So before the air is cleared in the interim, there will be good news and bad news, good news and bad news.

So who will know first the final outcome, again it won't be the retailers. So have to really closely monitor the chart to see any big sell off or buy back by the funds

Now below 0.90, cheaper than Foxcon entry price, managed to get a small stake, and see how it goes.

ping, silterra..etc got potential imo.

Its ok la..just allocate small portion of my portfolio.

Btw, the management sounds intelligent and professional, at least, on surface..Execution is key, Planning only is not enough..well said

haha, do not confuse Genting with other recovery stocks. Not all recovery stock are the same.

Genting has huge cash reserves to survive the pandemic, or outlast it.

The other one, sorry don't want to mention name, coz offend some people, is raising huge debts, and right issues to raise cash... just to sustain operation. If international travel is not opening soon, big trouble ahead. I already send them the proof of debt to claim my refund, wonder how long will it take.

Unless they start to hike up price..but if they do that, then they are in the territory of full fledge airline and head on with MAS.

AA glory days are over, it will take a decade for them to scale back to pre pandemic glory days. With the huge debts to service, and the inability to hike up price as much as they want, they will be in survival mode for some time

Size does matter in this industry. The bigger market share you have, the more say and control on pricing ( subject to some control from MCMC), delivery channels, and resource sharing.

No wonder Digi shoot up today, only thing is whether can materialise or not, still got hurdles 1) shareholder approval 2) regulatory approval.

Shareholder approval is more or less a done deal.

If regulatory approval is obtained, another leg up.

Should sell once news of regulatory approval is obtained..now holding and enjoy the up ride.

Still very much less talked about..all today focused on glove counters like supermax.
