In accordance with Section 9(3) of the Capital Markets and Services (Price Stabilisation Mechanism) Regulations 2008, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, being the stabilising manager in respect of the IPO (“Stabilising Manager”), wishes to announce that we have ceased the stabilising action for LCT on 24 July 2017, ahead of the expiry of the 30-day maximum stabilisation period.

During the stabilising period between 11 July 2017 and 24 July 2017, we have undertaken stabilising actions in which a total of 27,768,500 Shares, representing approximately 4.8% of the total number of Shares offered under the IPO, were purchased at an average price range of between RM6.2770 per Share to RM6.4718 per Share. The last purchase was made on 24 July 2017 at an average price of RM6.277 per Share. Following the last purchase, the 27,768,500 Shares that are subject to the over-allotment option in respect of the IPO have been fully bought back.

As such, we wish to announce that the over-allotment option granted by Lotte Chemical Corporation (“Over-Allotment Option Provider”) is not exercised. The Shares purchased under the stabilising action will be returned to the Over-Allotment Option Provider.

Lotte: Maybank IB buys 17.1m shares to stabilise price. Maybank Investment Bank (Maybank IB) has bought 17.1m shares in Lotte Chemical Titan Holding as part of its exercise to stabilise the share price of the integrated petrochemical firm. Maybank IB said it bought the shares at RM6.4718 apiece, for a total of RM110.67m. As for Lotte Chemical Titan, Maybank said it is allowed to buy up to 27.77m shares, equivalent to a 4.8% of the total number of shares offered under the IPO. (The Edge)
