If the director had sold prior to announcement and knowing the poor results action should be taken for 'insider trading' Incidentally notice also, Poh Huat announced the results today (last day). This reflects badly on the company

Directors not proactive but zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.No cooperate exercise. Now shareholders suffer with share price deterioration.

Thanks Icon8, just checked. Yr correct. For years 2013,2014 & 2015 div declared in July and ex in sept. So can expect this bonus issue to be completed after payment of div in Sept. So waiting period another 5 months at least for completion

Don't have to give ALL these excuses! You know the game well and the RULES too. So play by the rules and don't give us your age (83) etc, and cry for sympathy. Bursa set the rules for ALL. No exception. Throw the book at him and I think a hefty fine and barring him from future trading will be in order

Have been paying div of 0.025sen for every quarter since year 2014 & 2015. Time directors increase div to 0.035 quarterly and reward share holders with bonus or sp. div for 2016

To each is own. Thats why we have different colours in the rainbow. His was only advice given as I guess he has seen the ups & downs in life. Life is about filtering and taking what you want and making decisions.

Yes but all the other counters KLK, Batu Kawan & Ta Aun suffered the same fate, yet their prices are so much higher. If J.Tiasa has more land in Oil Palm than they should be producing MORE than all the above Companies yet its price on KLSE is one of the lowest among oil pal counters! Can't see the logic

You guys can go on talking about forex factor etc. The fact is the counter has fallen from rm8+ to rm6+ now. So many have been burn.......t and will take a long time to build confidence in the counter esp as this counter has peanuts div return

However expanding aggressively has it pitfalls too. Hevea, Lii Hean, Poh Huat, & Hormetiz are smaller companies but they do reward their shareholders within their capabilities. Let me tell you that I have been patiently holding on to Latitude since June 2014 & would just suggest/like/hope they are more generous with their div returns. JTYeo, Good morning. All your explanation accepted and taken. About bonus & split shares which leads to dilution accepted too. My only bone of contention here is that the directors tend to horde too much cash. They have tons of cash for expansion and building the company. Surely there is a limit to it too. While the shareholders wait, crumbs are thrown to them annually around 10 sen. Surely the big profits made needs to be shared by the shareholders too. Question is why are the directors hording soo much cash....have they a sinister motive.(Remember the case of Protosco) Even Bat, Dutch Lady & Nestle reward their shareholders handsomely every quarterly/yearly. We are only asking for profits to be shared generously, nothing more nothing less. Thank you & have a good day

Undervalued or overvalued is not the issue. As shareholders we expect the directors to manage the company well and also be generous to the shareholders. Look at all the furniture stocks when profits are made they share with the minority shareholders by generously distributing the profits in the form of div or bonuses. No point in earning EPS 90+sen, PE=6.88 and NAPS=5.10, but directors not being generous. They hoard the cash for whom or what? Very very selfish
Look at Karex they reward the shareholders generously by giving bonus in 2014 1:2, 2015= 1:2 and now 2/2016 propose again 1:2. Their NTA only 60sen. Now buying up another furniture factory where one of their directors has an interest. Expanding expected but look after shareholders too. This company is just like SPB & Oriental big cash reserves but shareholders hang their tongues out waiting like beggars for crumbs.

What is the intention of the Roberti guy. Is he so interested to expose if the is one. Why is he doing this. Ulterior motive. To push the share price down! Givn 'brown envelope'?? Surely we as minority shareholders can see that this co. has turned the corner and now has good earnings. Question to ask why all this in installments? Have my doubts.
