Substantial shareholders have been selling over the past month, though not very aggressively. I doubt if it can report earnings exceeding 2 sen a share later this month, so if it ever goes up to RM 2, I will just cut loss and sell all.

I believe some buyers are deliberately pushing down Keck Seng's share price to cause frustration and fear among small investors so that they have the chance to buy Keck Seng at lower price.

The bad news is the manufacturing division is going to lose money again and the company will again suffer from foreign exchange losses. The good news is it has RM1.1 billion cash and has plenty of grossly undervalued assets which if revalued will register surpluses which run into billions.

The management should divest of loss making divisions instead of stubbornly clinging to them. Also smart people won't keep so much cash in hand and worst of all, keep it in foreign currencies which are falling against the Ringgit right now.

This company needs several years to lay golden eggs. Only for those who have the patience.

The company has been paying dividend consistently for the past 10 years, this year's dividend being the highest. This shows the company is still confident of its future and there is no need to conserve its cash.

Recent low only 27.5 sen. Has gone up by about 50% already. Better to be prudent, syndicates might withdraw support suddenly. It has happened before.

@fmbklci, surely RHB can go up another 5% from 5.28, ie to around 5.60, just give it another few more weeks. Composite Index component stocks are trading at an average PE of 16.4, RHB is trading at a prospective PE of just 10. Bank stocks should never trade at such a low PE.

Highest level in almost 3 months. EPF holds over 40% of RHB shares. If it decides to pare down its holdings, the asking price would be at least RM7 to RM8. Be patient.
