European markets and US futures are up strongly. Should hit RM9 again tomorrow.

Fixed deposit rates are so pathetically low that you need RM20,000 just to earn an annual interest of RM400. With RHB bank, you only need less than RM6,000 to earn you RM400. With a dividend yield of 6.84%, this is even higher than the 6.10% that the EPF declared for 2021.

Crude oil priced spiked by over 6% again. You can expect CPO to rally again on Monday. Cepat's share price should also move north.

When someone tells me that Maybank is his largest investment, I will tell him that "you made the right choice". When someone tells me that TDM is his largest investment, I will tell him "be careful, you may lose all your money!"

For decades, most bank counters used to trade at PE ratios ranging from high teens to low twenties. The recent rally in bank stocks could be the start of a re-rating by institutional investors.

There are three plantation counters that I will never touch, they are TDM, Harnlen and Pinepac. Keck Seng is also grossly undervalued. It has thousands of hectares of plantation land in JB that has not been revalued for 40 years.

Even at RM10 a share, Maybank's dividend yield is still 5.8%, comparable to EPF's declared dividend for last year.

Maybank and CIMB Bank are experiencing two very different fortunes today. Maybank is moderately up while CIMB Bank is sharply down. Even after today's sharp fall, CIMB bank is still almost 80% higher than its lowest level just over 15 months ago and Maybank is less than 30% higher.

CPO futures prices have really gone crazy. Soon it will be Cepat's turn to become crazy.

If CPO prices can hold at the current levels, Cepat's profit this year should more than double.

Very disappointing set of final quarter results. I would put my bet on Maybank, RHB Bank or Ambank rather than CIMB Bank.

Genting Bhd and Genting Malaysia have been losing hundreds of millions over the past two years yet they dutifully pay dividends, unlike Keck Seng. I doubt Keck Seng directors will declare a final dividend of over 6 sen a share though shareholders haven't received any dividend for over two years.

Much improved earnings. Should move up to over 50 sen very soon, perhaps within this week. Don't miss the opportunity!

For those who want to invest in RHB bank better do it fast. You may not be able to get RHB bank shares at below RM6 very soon.

Judging by the performance of other banks, I am quite confident that RHB Bank is also able to turn in similar or even more impressive results than previous quarters. Even at RM 6 a share, RHB bank is still unreasonably low for a bank counter.

All wise men know the conditions/circumstances/scenarios that would compel China to invade Taiwan, simpletons don't. Getting inspiration from Russia's invasion of Ukraine is totally out.

DickyMe3 Not true. When the US attacked Iraq in 1990, no country made any noise. However, when it bypassed the UN to attack Iraq again in 2003, it was roundly condemned by many countries. Many other countries, especially those far, far away from the war zones chose to keep quiet.

Only a handful of Western countries are making a lot of noises. India is also super quiet, so is Pakistan, Saudi Arabia etc etc and most of Asean member countries including our Malaysia. Do you think the US would sit idly if China or Russia were to station troops/missiles in hostile Central American countries like Nicaragua, El Salvador, Cuba etc. I don't support Russia's attack on Ukraine. @DickyMe3 Wow! You seem to know a lot about China's intention. President Joe Biden would like to appoint you as his special advisor on East Asia affairs.

Tenaga needs to set aside RM20 billion for capital expenditure and another RM18 billion for operating expenditure over the next three years, and so the much reduced final dividend. It is still a sound long term investment.

This year's financial results could be even more spectacular in view of the astronomically high CPO price.

Cepat was only founded in 2001, its listing could only happen after 2001.

With CPO futures prices trading at well over RM5,500 a ton, Cepat should be trading at RM1.50 a share instead of just 89 sen.

Keck Seng has not paid any dividend to shareholders for over 2 years. During this pandemic hit period, it has failed to pay 2 interim and 2 final dividends. Just be happy with the usual 4 sen interim and 6 sen final dividends and don't dream for anything extra from the existing directors.

Volume picking up, meaning Cepat is on the radar of more and more investors. This is a good sign.

Despite the Dow having fallen by over 500 points, investors are not deterred and keep buying bank stocks. This is really a good sign.

Maybank touched RM8.50 on three consecutive days last month before it retreated. It should move up further this time in anticipation of good final quarter results and a big dividend.

When CPO price went up to around RM4,300 a ton about 10 years ago, Cepat reached a peak of about RM1.20 a share. Now CPO is trading at over 30% higher than its previous peak, Cepat should be trading at over RM1.50 instead of just 77 sen.

I don't expect Tenaga to match its final dividend for year 2020. I am more than happy with just a 38 sen a share final dividend this time.

Bank stocks have started to creep up recently in anticipation of improved final quarter results and rosy final dividends. Hope they could continue moving up for a while.

With a prospective earnings per share of around 65 sen for financial year 2021, RHB is obviously grossly undervalued.

Buy some Maybank shares and stay invested for several years. You can't be very wrong!

Cepat should announce its final quarterly earnings before the end of the month if the date of its previous quarterly earnings announcement is any indication. I expect the latest quarterly earnings to be better.

Thank you EPF for being responsible for CIMB's phenomenal rise over the past 14 months. Unfortunately, I have already disposed of all my CIMB shares months ago for a net gain of only 5k.
