they are undervalued indeed. its just tat those ANALyst from IB are striking fear and pegging a low PER on such counters. probably once the fund managers accumulate enough, they will repeg at a higher PER multiplier to attract retail investors to buy in while their fund managers conveniently disposes them and rake profits from spinning fear and greed alternatively

most likely, they have been buying for a week consecutively since 20+ March, at around 1.70-ish... now waiting for playmakers, this counter is very lukewarm

Shazza, I have a similar concern with you. but at PE 8+, where else can you find such O&G counter at this price. Check out Perisai, it has been the top 10 most actively traded quite some time last month, and at 50cents+, its already hitting PE40! Imagine the same happening on Barakah, I don't dream much, perhaps PE20? That would be great news for all patient investors still holding on. Now we just need a playmaker

where else can u find O&G counters at just PE 8+? the EPS is quite solid for the last 2 quarters. now its just the analyst pegging all O&G counters at a low PER due to unstable oil price. If a 16PER was used, it will be traded almost double to its price now. Unless you can't wait, then only you cut lost and enter more actively traded counters like technology stocks

then pls quote source of your claim where/who is the big gun? as long as they are substantial shareholders, their acquisition or disposals of shares will be disclosed (though a delay for a few days). hence pls stop making non-sensical claims here

Kenanga is the last IB I will ever trust. Can change TP every now and then. One week can give u BUY call at 1.34, 2 weeks later SELL call at 0.78, then another 2 weeks later HOLD call at 1.04. (reference: BARAKAH)

another newbie question again. if everything can be "predicted" with TA, and just at the moment you expect it to go up, wont those big players with big muscles do the reverse and "create" a situation which is "least expected"? any sifu here can teach me more of this?

what I mean is the 0.6% is translated into 6 cents for a bowl of noodles of RM10. if you are prepared to have a bowl of noodles for RM10 instead of RM5 outside at the hawker stalls, I don't see why people should make a big fuss about the 6 cents GST.

the 6% on a 10% service charge means you are only paying an additional 0.6% extra on the food price. All this while they are charging gov tax of 6% and 10% service charge. and I think it works on all eateries which charges SC, not just OldTown. If you can afford to pay RM10 for a bowl of noodles, I dun think you will feel the pinch of the additional 6 cents now.

they know oil price is dropping liao, ask u all to BUY in at the 90sen-ish zone, while their fund managers could probably be clearing off the amount which they locked in at lower price of 80 sen-ish

weavefinder, totally agree with you. i was a value based investor on certain small caps counters which is "undervalued" based on PE but if there are no playmakers like big sharks or fund managers, there is no point also. Priva is my 1st penny stock, hope can generate some profit to cover my petrol expenditure. haha ^^
