VS and Latitud are "darling" stock picks of a famous controversial writer in this forum. Do not wish to name him here but most ppl here will know who I am mentioning after banging heads after following his BUY calls on Mudajaya and Jayatiasa. That's why I prefer to pay more attention to KC's writeups and justification. Keep it up!

earnings announcement should be around the corner, these few days. high chances expected increased revenue but reduced earning margins again. wonder if they will declare a small dividend to reward the patient shareholders. cause really boring la this counter. no movement at all

Speaking both as a shareholder and customer of Padini. Am delighted that the customer based is still there (sustained revenue) but am worried that the on-going promotion and stock clearance is dirt cheap (good to customers, not healthy to the company and shareholders in a long run due to reduced marging). I agree with the author here, perhaps Padini should reconsider putting themselves so low just to attract customers (in other words, slowly changing to a pasar malam style clearance)

it may not grow back to break RM2 like its glorious days las time, but I am sure it will definitely recover back to RM1.50-60ish due to declined EPS. just use a more realistic 14X instead of the nonsensical 10X PER by Maybank. it is THEIR opinion, but ask yourself, what do YOU think as a CONSUMER. how much can you "hide" from GST? Like it or not, the spending will pick up once consumers at large realized nothing can be done. Look at the ANALyst integrity, few months ago can simply peg a high TP at RM1.80, now suddenly withdrawn and peg a drastically low TP, if its not for ulterior motives, then what?

still the same problem, revenue is solid, just tat profit margin has been significantly reduced perhaps due to higher operation cost and promotional discount due to tight competition. but i feel the main culprit is the negative sentiment stirred by the investment banks ANALyst. when the time comes they will find "reasons" to peg it to 16X PER. now they peg to 10 or 12X just to create panic selling and impatience so that they can accumulate more. just my 2 cents. chinese saying: "humans also them, ghost also them"

i have seen many spinners in i3 forums. i must admit Dr is one of the worst. no effort put, just shout blindly. irritating!

big players almost done unloading at 12 and 12.5cents. time for them to accumulate back at 11cents. and the cycle repeats over and over again. while spinners keep shouting 20cents jackpot

human also him, ghost also him. when he wanna accumulate he will step at nexgram and create fear hoping ppl will become impatient and dispose to him. when accumulated enough, will spin the hype of TP 20 cents, which he is probably queuing somewhere at 13.0 and 13 cents range. when fail to convince ppl, another lower but more realistic TP of 15cents is shouted today

now randomly shout a lower TP of 15 cents without any justifications or figures to support. but this time i agree with him la, TP of 15 cents is achievable but not until the big players have finish preying on small traders and repeat the cycle of 11-12 cents over and over again.

I have seen a lot spinners in other counters' forums. at least they still spin rumours and news to back the TP, not just simply shout a 20 cents. if you wanna be a spinner employed by the pump and dump syndicate/ big players, do it professionally. i can think you can do better than just calling ppl pondans and provoking/daring ppl to keep buying or shouting a random TP.

ppl just buy and keep it because they knw its a good stock. if its a good stock, no need to keep promote, else you are spinning news to attract retail traders to feed the big players disposing gradually.

Went to to Padini outlets in both Aeon shopping centre in Ipoh. crowded due to 4 days sales. Got some great bargains myself. Happy as a customer but slightly worried as an investor. At the rate of discounts, like I mentioned earlier, revenue growth in the expense of profit margin shrinking.

all this ANALyst also are partner in crime with fund managers. stir up panic so that retail traders will dispose while their fund managers accumulate happily at lower price. and if fun managers wanna dispose, one simple phone call to their ANALyst and they will spin spin spin saying the company is undervalued la, deserve a higher PER la, Market outperform la, trading buy call la to create the buying hype, else who wanna absorb all the sell queues from the funds? looking for ppl like us la! so don't completely trust ANALyst reports
