I read in articles since 2015 that this BOT power plant concession will provide income/revenue to Jaks as a whole and not some vague associate company thing, this was even mentioned in the latest 2020 annual report and recent quarter report. Also didn't read about any dividend or so from such concession? I thought the source of revenue is from Vietnam government instead of public, sorry but I've worked in Tenaga projects before hence is a bit familiar with such special purpose vehicle type of operating model.

Maybe I'm not familiar with how this associate company revenue will be reported in a company's books, will need your explanation to clear this doubt, thanks!

Sslee Vietnam power plant is 30% associate company of JAKS hence it will not contribute any revenue to JAKS but share of profit which is non cash book profit and will be taken out in cash flow.
The only cash flow will be dividend received from the Vietnam power plant if power plant declared dividend to the shareholder.

Are you saying that all the concession recurring income from commercial operation can never be reported as revenue in future upcoming quarter results, due to this relationship of JAKS and its associate company JAKS Pacific Power Limited (who owns 30% Vietnam power plant)?

Entitlement date announced for both normal share and ICPS Rights Issue. Only 2 weeks timeframe for company to entice shareholders subscription.

Not sure why not many comments on this Rights Issue with regards to own case, but at today's price I can simply spend the same amount and buy from market to arrive at the same averaged down price (only difference of 1 sen). Bear in mind that price may go down a bit more due to share dilution after the normal RI share listing. Which presents another window opportunity to buy from market at even further discount than today!

Another opportunity for bottom fishing is end May where next quarter will be announced barring any delay. If result is disappointed, this time impact is much worst, price can dip below 0.20 - as the community is expecting a turnaround due to China sales. The best thing from this exercise is don't need to spend admin effort to subscribe, can simply buy online at the click of a mouse!

Its business foundation cannot even sustain one mid global crisis, source of income not flexible enough, insufficient cash to even maintain its China contract. At 0.20 per RI and 0.02 per ICPS, even at maximum scenario where each ICPS is fully converted, the difference between this maximum scenario and buying from market at current price offers very little difference.

I think either below will happen if this is the case at the END OF THIS EXERCISE:
1) not much subscription from investors especially retailers
OR
2) price must be AT LEAST few bids above 0.22 to attract subscription, else people can just buy from open market, especially if price drops a little further!

The above is true for me, not sure about the others though. Unless you think can earn from the ICPS share by not converting but selling it later when price goes up, but then the amount is very small only as compared to your capital.

I own this share but hope is already gone until the RI completion in 3rd quarter 2021. Expected price then will be around 0.11 or lower as indicated in the proposal. Based on this, if you can hold and have more funds to average down if and when price falls further, holding it and follow the insiders now may not go too far wrong. In terms of downside, you are buying at the price similar to previous ICPS subscribers and latest private investor MMAG.

I believe some retailers have bought into Dynaciate when it falls down heavily on the 23rd. It's currently being hated, shunned and beaten down for no apparent reason other than insider manipulation. More corporate movements/insider moves will be announced by Dynaciate soon.

This stock triggered the mandatory Bumiputera shareholdings due to past few years consistent growth earnings and profits. Also company planned for mainboard transfer but got cancelled due to unfavorable circumstances last year because of covid19.

Unfortunately after Lo Ling became a shareholder and subsequently ceased in a short period of time (Lo Ling is known for Milux price manipulation and got suspended by Bursa), you start to see all the famous penny stocks getting involved here.

Likely the circular to shareholders on the RI+ICPS will be out in a matter of days or 1 to 2 weeks at most. Once the news is announced on that day, expect some price movements especially upward bias if both the RI+ICPS fixed price is not far from its previous indicative price...

For those willing to place the bet that usually RI/ICPS fixed price does not stray far from its indicative price, it's now or never to buy in when it's still below the proposal... once announced you can never get this price anymore I think...

RI+ICPS price not fixed yet, it can go lower later also... if that happens, then company will get reduced fund subscription compared to the indicative 0.23 in proposal... that's not a good thing to both the company and shareholder because lesser fund to enhance its China contract = lesser profit..

Onggal: tech counters up and down technical play is more tempting than here, this counter does not even qualify for a contra play.. just because they consolidated 10 to 1 and now the bids are better than penny stock hence considered good for contra? ... and consolidation also allow fund raising with 10x more amount than previous penny stock status, such a magic wand having a listed status!

Sorry to say but VV like to sell hopes and ambitions instead of genuine real growth where consistent profits quarter after quarter will speak louder than any hopes/ambitions combined. The more you sell, the more desperate you will look to those who are familiar with this counter.

1. Check the Mines Villa Sungai Besi sales statistics. Call up their sales office and ask for more information, visit the site for actual population etc etc. Reason being this is the more recent development where Chia is the major shareholder.

2. Have a coffee in the mamak along the same row of Vivocom's office near Batu Caves there. Then start observing the office building's exterior, cars parked in the front, maybe try to go inside pretending to be door to door sales man to gauge the interior reception. Just for fun..

3. Spend more time online trying to find status updates on the Coneff court case.

4. Find more information online pertaining to Regal's group historical background.

5. Find more information online pertaining to the Kuching Development project as it's the largest single project in their prospectus.

Can think of few more points but lazy to dig further. If author can provide the clarification to above, all the better to help VinVest achieve its ambition!

Honestly, I made more profit in trash penny stocks than fundamental/growth/value counters. No right or wrong ok! But have faith in the 80/20 rule!

This counter is not the first and definitely not that great of a concern if comes to "how to survive without profit?". Look at the other hundreds of penny stocks out there that is making much more quarterly losses. Better yet, check out other stock exchanges overseas.

And yet one can still take the opportunity and earn from these so-called trash penny stocks! You put money in a counter 'betting' it will go up in share price, fundamentals are just an excuse to justify your purchase and/or risk! Stock market is a betting machine la!

If wanna go for conspiracy theory, market makers/operators can be hired officially by the company itself during listing. Then other market makers can unofficially come and go as well.

In this sense because of RI, the market makers are obliged to maintain the price above 0.23 based on this conspiracy theory.

If price stays at this level around 0.2, RI price can no longer be fixed at 0.23. This also translates to less subscription money for the company. That's the impact if company does not support current price now.

Anyway, this morning volume is not large enough to constitute a panic sell, still waiting for big sell down with real volume or RI price fixing. Although there may be weeks to go before price fixing as the RI application has not even be submitted to Bursa yet...
