Correct me if i am wrong.

That is because I believe:
i. Based on management guideline, Sep/Oct/Nov ASP hike is 30/30/15%. That is 1.9435 times of past quarter revenue.
ii. Expenses goes up as well, look at worse case senario, let's say expenses go up 10% every month, -15m fine, -185m donation to government.
iii. Management indicates 3% annual revenue affected by factory closure. Let's make it -6% revenue (300m more or less) for coming QR.
iv. That makes NPAT of roughly 2.6b, still double from the last quarter.

Last QR, TG made 1.3b, enough to make it closest to Maybank, only 2c (9.78/9.80) shy from being no.1. Let's see this time can overtake Maybank or not.

If QR failed miserably, will need HK listing and CBP revoked to save the day.

Due to raw material shortage, Glove still looking at 10% ASP hike 2021.

Next QR will be the record profit of Bursa Malaysia in 2020.

I have some doubt also. Firstly, efficacy means efficiency of the vaccine, its a measure of effectiveness, (rather than effective or not). There seems to be confusing usage of the word in news report everywhere.

Secondly, the those enrolled are healthy people. And yet we have so many patient without symptom. How would that affect the receiver is another question.

Anyway, Pzifer enrolled 43,000 people. (Let's assume 50/50 placebo and vaccine) Out of 43,000 people, 170 contracted the virus. 162 from placebo and 8 from the vaccine group. So, 154/162 = 95%. Out of 10 people who are severely sick, 1 from placebo and 9 from vaccine group.

Moderna enrolled 30,000 people. (Let's assume 50/50 placebo and vaccine.) Out of 30,000 people, 90 people in placebo contracted the disease, 5 from vaccine group contracted the disease. So, (90-5)/90 = 94.5%. Moderna also claims none is severely sick after contracted the virus.

If you look at the data, sure its promising result. If humanity could somehow reduce mortality to near 0, then sure our life will be back to good old days.

Now worldwide mortality rate ranged from 0.1% to 2%. With the vaccine, I think mortality will drop to near 0 and yet there are still people getting sick (despite very low numbers).

QL buys 4% from a partner at market price, and says intend to keep Boilermech listed. Not many will sell to QL and QL won't buy much. QL will end up with slightly more than 50%.

If BM shareholders believe in synergy will be created, they won't sell. If BM shareholders believe no synergy will be created, they will sell at market price. Either way QL won't get much. (That's the intention, otherwise QL will offer higher price).

1. Takeover offer at market price but intend to keep Boilermech listed, my best guess is to improve the chance of getting into KLCI.

2. QL has plenty of cash and plenty of growth, all segments will do really well CY2021. QL and Boilermech both run by the same group of people, except Managing director Mr. Chia Song Kooi not in Boilermech.

3. QL invested into solar panel installation in its Hutan Melintang, Endau and Tuaran bases, each with 8MW capacity. I guess making Boilermech a subsidiary creates some synergy: solar panels can be put on top of chicken sheds.

4. Really enjoy to read Managing Director's report, really pleased he admitted Raud has HPAI.

5. Buy as much as I can.
