Sendai reported reduced profit of 0.05 sen EPS for the quarter ending March 2024. It reported 7.4 sen EPS for the previous quarter ending December 2023. That is why its share price has been dropping in the last 2 days. Fortunately, I sold all my holdings and made some profit. It will continue to drop because smart investors do not buy any company that reported reduced profit. I just Googled "What is Eversendai's financial result for the quarter ending March 2024?" and I got this answer " Eversendai Corporation Berhad reported its financial results for the fourth quarter ending March 2024. Here are the key figures:

Sales: MYR 519.05 million, compared to MYR 300.99 million in the same quarter last year.
Net Income: MYR 57.85 million, a significant improvement from a net loss of MYR 166.38 million in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. This positive turnaround indicates that Eversendai is on a recovery path, with revenue growth and profitability in motion" If this true, I may have to consider buying back Sendai. Currently Sendai is shooting up like a Russian missile. It has gone up 13.5 sen. It is still going up beyond anyone's expectation. Many shareholders are laughing to the bank. What can KSL do to benefit shareholders?
1 Since the company is so cash rich to buy land from S P Setia for Rm 228.8 million, the company must give out more dividend.

2 Since its NTA is Rm 3.65 per share and its share price is Rm 1.72, the best business KSL can do is to buy back its own shares. It can make more than 100% profit instantly without any risk. This is the safest and fastest way to make profit.

Today KSL shot up 11% or 8.2% in one day. I have used all my money to buy KSL because it is the cheapest in terms of PE ratio among the top 10 property developers in Malaysia. I am not asking you to buy to support the share price because the daily traded volume is a few million shares. Today the traded volume is 6.2 million shares.

KSL is catching up rapidly. It shot up 7 sen today.

• KSL has a market capitalization of RM 1.06 billion as of April 6, 2023, which ranks it as the 17th largest property company in Malaysia by market cap.
• KSL has a revenue of RM 1.01 billion and a net income of RM 340.8 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2022, which gives it a revenue growth of 9.8% and a net income growth of 140.7% compared to the previous year.
• KSL has a total of 15 ongoing projects and 11 completed projects in various locations in Malaysia, mainly in Johor, Selangor, and Kuala Lumpur. Some of its notable projects include KSL City Mall, KSL Esplanade Mall, KSL Resort, and KSL Hot Spring Resort3.

Ranhill awarded 100 MW electricity supply contract

This morning Ranhill made a long legally worded announcement about the Sabah State Government’s award of a contract to construct a 100 MW gas power plant to sell/supply electricity to Sabah Energy Corporation for 21 years. The price of electricity will be based on cost plus profit.
Currently Ranhill has a 380 MW gas power plant in operation and with this additional 100 MW, the company will have 480 MW gas power plant generating electricity to sell to the Sabah Energy Corporation.
That simple means Ranhill has additional profit growth for 21 years. Among all the share section criteria such as NTA, cash flow, debt, health balance sheet, EPS etc the most powerful criterion to push up share price is profit growth prospect.
That is why Ranhill share price has been going up higher and higher recently, especially today.

Mr Ooi Teik Bee has warned me that he would break his friendship with me if I posted any article to depress Hengyuan share price. Despite his warning I posted my article namely " Hengyuan is dropping continuously". My sole intention is to advise investors to sell as soon as possible to save their hard earned money or life savings. Mr Ooi is an expert in charting and he teaches charting for a tuition fee. He also sells his weekly circular letters for Rm 1,000 per year. Up till now, he has not advised all his subscribers to sell Hengyuan. Hengyuan share price chart is showing that it started to drop from Rm 7.39 on 17th May to the current level of Rm 4.50. It has already dropped Rm 2.89 or about 40% in the last one month. Why OTB cannot see the down trend price chart??? Why doesn't he advise all his subscribers to sell???
In fact, about 5 years ago, I asked my college mate Ng Eng Hean to let Mr Ooi to manage his investment for the requested fee. He told Mr Ooi to sell Hengyuan yesterday and lost a lot of money. My important observation is that the company reported 16.15 sen EPS is for 2 months instead of 3 months because the company wanted to change its financial year from ending in July to December. Its next quarter ending March should be much better which will be announced before the end of May. I am waiting patiently to laugh all the way to the bank. Koon Yew Yin

Hiap Teck reported reduced profit in each of the last 5 quarters. It is hopeless!!! Among all the stock selection criteria such as NTA, cash flow, cash rich or debt etc profit growth is the most important consideration. Profit growth prospect is the most powerful factor to push up share price. HT do not have profit growth. You should sell and use your sale proceeds to better use. I have written about it before.
