Many stock market freshie who just join the market this year will get a rude shock today with klci dropped more than 40 points. many get burned. all contra gains give back in one shot today.
petgas,petdag,pechem..when the oil is above 80,their price is still over value, now the oil below 70,they r still over value, even thought their share price drop today, the price is still overvalue!!
Many traders make many rounds profit for first 9 months of the year. Any traders still manage to maintain net profit after today? paper gain or loss included
Skyz, many people are in your situation. Wasted right?!
Posted by skyz > Dec 2, 2014 02:27 PM | Report Abuse 20% paperloss as of now... the paperloss from O&G counters are enough to offset all the gains I made in the last 8 months :(
This the the most often heard advice but unfortunately failed big time, most of the time

Posted by AdCool > Dec 2, 2014 09:46 AM | Report Abuse Around -18% paper loss. Still holding and not averaging down until after Feb/March next year. Doing daily contra to recover some loss.
Hi Kukuman, yeah, actually I'm still in my baby steps in trading. but really learned a lot from this market dip. what to do, have to hold on to the stocks. some defensive stocks like Padini still paying mere dividends, treat it as FD only lo :(
paper loss of 4% after including dividend earned since I started sometime in august. Since i hold all dividend stocks with at least 3-4% yield and no O&G stocks, am not particularly worried. My strat is NEVER buy any stock that doesn't offer any dividend C: (to cushion drop in share prices - happy lo when price go up temporarily before ex-date then go out again)
