@greatful,

that is indeed a puzzle that only vt has the answer.

i can never balanced out all the numbers of listed bjg companies and consolidate with bjc.

all i know is that the main bjc has a high financial leverage of 3 and a low roa of sub 1%.

but @calvintaneng, until now, is radio silence on this very important concern.

I think calvin has his points. Thank you calvin because you introduce me to buy PMCORP when it was around 10 sen. I sold it 28 sen later,after years. That almost 3 X

Also thanks a lot for your MULPHA which I bought at around 45 sen. Now it is RM 2.+,
up 5 X!

@greatful,

indeed, better sleep well than worry so much.

but if bjc is cheap enough @ 20sen and below, one has around spare cash of rm10k and dont mind risking a few yrs for a 10-20% chance of doubling/tripling/quad of the money or losing more, then it maybe worth a punt.

@greatful,

for me, @20sen is why not since only park rm10k for a 10-20% chance of doubling/triple/quad returns after dont know how many yrs.

at most lose until like 50% like mui or gain another rm10-15k in that few yrs. the chances r slightly better than the chance of striking jackpot or toto supreme.

@greatful,

hard to say as well.

the all-time low is 8sen in 2008/9, if i remember correctly, so 5 sen is possible for u to get.

Joe, it will b nice if u can write your analysis of every stock call Of Calvin n post in i3 here. Then readers will have a better understanding of the pros n cons of the stock recommended. To many here, it looks like u r stalking Calvin. No offence, Joe. I missed drb, Pos n dutaland recommended by Calvin. Made from Bonia, Mui n pmcorp. I give Bjcorp a pass.

@seek,

i dont think i m that good to write a critique on stocks, calling for a buy or sell as calvin assumed himself to be.

what i m competent at is asking pointed questions and pointing out inconsistencies in a stock if any, whether the pov is for or against.

to me, it is a good way to evaluate whether a stock is a good buy or sell, what r the ups/downs and what r the risks by asking,listening and analyzing.

using bjc as an example, when i asked calvin whether the high financial leverage and low roa will impact negatively on bjc, he is unable to answer me such a basic question. so thats when i know bjc is not a buy at this level.

but calvin, being calvin, cannot take any tough questionings. thats why he broke down and diverted from promoting bjc.

i believe many do find it informative when someone ask tough questions and form their own povs on a stock.
