many of the mrt stations in PJ, sungai buloh areas are just oversize and like an white elephant..everytime i passed by, i can even see more than 30 people walking down the stations...waste of public money spend so much and the traffic are just bad,.....may take 5 years + to see some 20 to 30 % traffic..how to sustain? the public money spend can use it areas like healthcare benefit for the poor..a cut of 2 to 3 b at 5% interest, the saving is just huge !
All projects big or small at inflated prices under previous government. LGE will not simply cancel contracts without due cause. The PH government is in the process of getting rid of the rent seekers and leeches.
MRT stations are a bit like KLIA. You cannot build small first, then expand later. Becos it will become even more expensive that way. You hv to build it big straightaway, by projecting future traffic 20 years down the line.
This is Malaysia no matter who is the government now as they never learn the lesson whom don't have far eyesight. See our highway will know if compare with other countries. when come to big project, it should be built to cater for at least ten years population and not short term.
The motion by current government is good to pair down the debts but perhaps is too stiff as they want to reduce the huge debts within two years. unless, there is totally no growth in the sector except the economy is some driven by consumer spending which is ridiculous and not happening. in fact, the acts have tremendous my distracted the investment sentiment by now. Who will dare to tender especially foreign company with low margin and do business with a u turn minister?!!
But I agree with the far-sighted project. They (the previous government) build these things large to make sure it can sustain the demands in the future. If MRT, KTM, and LRT can share the same lines in the future, imagine how much passengers can they take in one day. We would have been like Japan.
still big profit without MMC.MMC knows nothing and just a UNMo's crony and get a big share of project. renegotiate without MMC is the way to go if gamuda wants decent profit.
the country now in a very bad condition. So sad to see. Toll still have to pay. Tax will increase. GTS gone and now replace with SST plus service charge in services. Contract termination. petrol price still high. PTPTN still have to pay. Many many more PH govt live to rakyat. Now the country is really in bad situation due to incompetent Minister like LGE and many other minister. Even got one moron MP in melaka. This is really a shit govt. So sad to see Malaysia now.
Dont know what they are figuring out. Such like cut down manpower in factory but without carrying out improvement in productivity. Finally end up with business closure. Shit.

LGE, pls don't play poker with MRT2 project.
Further delay will incur more public funding.
And my advise to LGE, talk less and do more work /result.
