My friend

Your portfolio return is a negative minus - 4.17%

Better switch to palm oil shares

Cpo at above Rm6000 means at least 200% real gross profits for palm oil planters

Very few businesses can even command a 20% gross profit today like palm oil

Too many speculative shares

Even with my hangus investment/trade in Serba, I'm only -0.72% YTD.

REITs provide a good anchor for my portfolio. And, be surprised, they all deliver very decent IRR to me over the years.

Atrium: 15.7%
Axis: 25.2%
IGB: 16.2%
KLCC: 14.2%

The IRR numbers above are not purely buy and hold, I exited and re-entered over the years. If I had held on, the IRR would be even more wonderful!
In case you dunno...

IRR:

And investment that deliver 17.875% IRR (simple average of my 4 REITs) will double your investment in just 5.59 years. And that, at a relatively low volatility. Why risk so much at those speculative stocks? To me, speculative counters should not exceed 10% of my overall portfolio at any time.
