Anwar Ibrahim should have prepared for this! But seems he is totally caught with his pants down!
It shows Anwar is all talk! Anwar still can't beat Mahathir when it comes to greater scheme of things!
Anwar recent trip to New York fail to bring in US investors! The reason, US investors have long trying to make a footprint in Malaysia! But they have to deal with our little napoleons in civil service! Our civil servants are hindrance to foreign investors! They make things so difficult to invest here! And you have cartels who controlled our local supplies! And you have tycoons that refuse to give way to investors! Basically, Malaysia will not move foreard!
Anwar can talk all day long but end of his term, nothing is done! And by that time, Mahathir will become the next PM!

Its basic economics.

PE bag price plus local rice cost < imported rice
difference is criminal profits

Its very possible some criminals somewhere just repackaged local rice into new bags
and resell local rice as imported rice.

Even petrol and diesel got people steal, so why not rice repackaging? easy instant money.
