The update by KDN seems positive, mentioned progress though is slower than expected due to some labor bottleneck. Doesn't seem to have any wrong doing in rewarding the contract.
Better going up with silent(when the price going up with no any news publish, maybe Iris can going up 100%),if good news come out, that's mean can sell already。
Since its a non-complaince from the seller side, therefore more likely to have some form of liability. Keeping in mind, its not the buyer who does not want to pay.
13 billion National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) — for RM70 million in cash. In a bourse filing, Iris said the stake is being sold to information technology company Tass Tech Technologies Sdn Bhd, which is wholly-owned by Tass Tech (M) Sdn Bhd (TTSB). The share sale agreement was inked on Friday (Feb 10)
Lots said about the silence by the GOM as endorsement of the NIISE moving forward with IRIS but at the same time, not enough is being said about the silence from IRIS about the sale of IRIS Tech to TTSB. Isnt there a biased narative being played here?
NEC has implemented over 1,000 systems with its fingerprint and face recognition technologies in more than 70 countries and regions, including systems for approximately 50 airports around the world.
"Advancing Malaysia’s border control system also generates positive social-economic impacts. Through the NIISe project, both IRIS and NEC Malaysia will be able to create job opportunities. Beyond developing solutions that propel Malaysia’s progress, we also work closely with our partners and stakeholders to support talent development in the digital space," added Mr. Chong.
Both IRIS and NEC are committed to develop skilled talent in the areas of digital transformation, and both companies will also nurture young Malaysians under the Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (PROTÉGÉ) Ready-to-Work program by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC)
