- Claims on YBS’s emptied cash and in need of doing rights issue and private placement? Untrue. The management has mentioned in their press conference that the company has secured fundings through syndicated loan.


- Claims on YBS ENOVIX partnership as a “show” to garner publics attention? Untrue. YBS ENOVIX partnership has been published in ENOVIX and MIDA websites. ENOVIX FAB2 aims to produce 9 million battery per annum at full capacity. This is a real business deal where YBS proudly demonstrated the capability to work along with world’s top-ranking company, ENOVIX in producing highly demanded Silicon Anode battery. Secured funding from syndicated loan, MIDA, Tengku Zafrul and state government’s corporation also backed the insistency of YBS to carry out and deliver the productions.

- Irresponsible words by blogger created fear in market and it snowballed into panic selling. Unlike other companies which has high frequency of announcing MOU like DNEX and BINTAI, this is the first project announcement by YBS. - Shareholders list of ENOVIX revealed that the largest shareholders on board are Vanguard, Blackrock, Pension Fund, and Goldman Sacs, where all those are the big three assets management investment companies in the world. Those massive investment management companies have ascertained capabilities of ENOVIX creating futures while our own Malaysian blogger is in disbelieve that Malaysian company can do well.

- Slander comment, market fear, panic selling. After the damage has been done, the post was removed by the reckless blogger, most probably fearing getting sued for defamation. ENOVIX, a net cash company with more than $ 1.5B in cash has more than enough to prove the commitment in getting business done.

- Last but not least, Genetec and Tesla have been in loss for many years before they make it the hood of the industry. Rome was not created in a day. Investors should study the fact before reading such accusation without solid fact.

Concern is letter of interest (LOI) only.
“None of the parties shall be bound in any way in connection with the LOI unless and until the parties execute a definitive agreement, and then shall be bound only in accordance with the terms of such agreement,” said YBS in its bourse filing.
This type of LOI just like MOU. Can be terminated anytime. This is the risk.

I urge investors to invest in patience, I believe this is the jackpot of your lifetime . How many of us can get counter like Genetec ? SFP ? INFOMINA ? Many times, jackpot is just right infront of us but we are not patience enough , we treat it like a punt and we miss the whole journey.

1. YBS will take a significant financial stake in Enonix Gen2 line by securing syndicate loan from local bank and local authorities. They have secured full support from MIDA and MITI to make it a successful project.
2. When fully ramped, Gen2 Line 1 will have the capacity to produce more than 9 million batteries annually.

4. Sample build can start as early as November and once the certification achieved in 1 - 3 months , they can start the mass production, expect to reap profit in first qr 2024

Enovix makes silicon anode lithium-ion batteries. If that sounds like gibberish, don’t sweat it. It’s not a gizmo most people could explain, even if they wagered their money on it being a game-changer. The Fremont, California-based company has gotten a boost from a couple of well-known investors whose enthusiasm has evidently been more persuasive to the retail traders who follow their every move on Twitter than the mystery, to non-scientists, that surrounds exactly what Enovix does. It’s a curious phenomenon that raises questions about the intersection of technical knowledge and popular appeal, not to mention the power of stock-market heroes and the ages-old dilemma of whether a company can succeed in manufacturing a world-changing product but still crash if it can’t find a way to pump them out at quantities big enough to matter.

Add on top of that the convoluted history of companies that have attempted to revolutionize lithium batteries — a decades-long saga rife with charlatans and debacles — and it might lead one to assume that the so-called little investors who doubled the price of Enovix shares this year before it settled down are closing their eyes before they dive in. To some extent, they are. The esoteric nature of battery technology demands a certain suspension of disbelief. Yet, paradoxically, it’s this very blind spot that allows for dreamy speculation about what may lie ahead. Because this much is obvious: if Enovix really has created a better battery, and can figure out a way to make them at scale, March 31’s year-to-date high of $14.91 a share will be a price that gets smaller and smaller before it disappears in the rearview mirror.

Or not.

Lithium batteries are used in everything from electric vehicles to handheld power tools to smartphones, but it’s not just the intoxicating promise that propels Enovix’s doting Twitter following. There’s also the buzz that comes with having two big-name backers in its corner: Marc Cohodes and T.J. Rodgers. For Cohodes, a short-selling veteran with devoted fans and an uncanny ability to detect fraud, it’s a rare departure to praise a company rather than expose its flaws. As a bear, he’s been on a hot streak lately, accurately predicting the fall of FTX and Signature Bank long before just about anyone else. Meanwhile, Rodgers, Enovix’s chairman, is a startup savant with a brash personality. He’s the founder of Cypress SemiconductorCY 0.0%, which sold for $10 billion in 2019, and an early investor in Enphase EnergyENPH +2.5%. He rode Enphase from a dollar a share to more than $300 (it currently trades around $200). Added bonus: Rodgers knows a little something about batteries. YBS is well prepared with Gen2 plant which can manufacture output by over 10x compared to Gen1 line. The principal enhancement in the Gen2 Autoline involves increased levels of automation, parallelism and in-line metrology.

Just because a business does not make any money, does not mean that the stock will go down. For example, although software-as-a-service business Salesforce.com, TESLA, lost money for years while it grew recurring revenue, if you held shares since 2005, you'd have done very well indeed. The same applies to ENOVIX , the next NVIDIA

Enovix (NASDAQ:ENVX) intends to offer $150 million convertible senior notes due 2028 in a private placement, the silicon battery maker said Monday.

Shares -4.2% at $13 after hours.

The Fremont, California-based company also intends to grant the initial purchasers of the notes an option to purchase up to an additional $22.5 million of notes.

Entities affiliated with company chairman Thurman Rodgers have shown an interest in purchasing up to $5.0 million of the additional notes in a separate concurrent private placement.

The affiliate notes are expected to be sold at the same price, and constitute part of the same series, as the notes.

The affiliated investors are under no obligation to purchase any of the affiliate notes offered and their interest in purchasing such affiliate notes is not a commitment to do so, ENVX said.

The notes will be general unsecured obligations of Enovix and will accrue interest payable semiannually in arrears.

The interest rate, initial conversion rate and other terms will be determined at the time of pricing of the offering.

12k units…great! I would like to see the terms of the debt. I don’t think I would consider 12k a validation of the manufacturing process quite yet. 36k+ after the third quarter and a clear signal of the yield improving down the s-curve, then yes, but this raise this early seems like a no-confidence vote in meeting their goals on time. I’ll wait to see third quarter results before I jump back into this ticker.
