VT acquired Redtone abt 6 million shares shares in range of 0.68-0.70 on 19/7/13 last Friday worth abt RM4 million+. Good announcement indeed showing big shareholder confidence in increasing their shares. Something good coming soon, hopefully its BIG and benefit all the shareholders as well. :D

viper88, as what gimmy2u has just updated, on 19.7.2013, the price of redtone is between 0.775 to 0.805. So VT must have acquired the shares between those prices.

simple guys. do the math. The LTE license where awarded to Puncak, U mobile, Redtone, Digi, MAxis, Celcom.
Redtone, Maxis and Umobile are considered 1. Celcom may join the band wagon.

Sorry.... Please look at the announcement date again. Remarks :The transactions were made between 18 July 2013 and 19 July 2013.

So, the price purchased should be somewhere around 0.715 to 0.805.
Nevertheless, it's still a good news ;-)

Vincent Tan buys nearly 6m shares of RedTone

KUALA LUMPUR: Tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan bought 5.978 million shares of REDtone International Bhd on July 18 and 19.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed he bought the 1.22% stake from the open market. The share price closed at 80 sen on July 19, which was the highest since December 2005.

The filing showed he was also deemed interest in 66.20 million shares or 13.58% stake in REDtone which is held Berjaya Group Bhd.

REDtone is a telecommunications company and a Wi-Fi infrastructure builder.

my honest opinion about the technical chart is that it would go sideways, cover the gap between 0.76 to 0.78, consolidating in this region. probably waiting for news inflow or volume to build up before any other movement.
