美國3大股指周二高開低走，道指現插水過百點，美國3大股指高開後插水，道指現報20,796點，跌108點；標指現報2,360點，跌12點；納指開市創紀錄新高，高見5,928點，現報5,864，跌37點。

市場在等待美聯儲官員講話，並消化經濟數據，美國四季度經常帳逆差小幅收窄至1124億美元，且窄於預期。

克里夫蘭聯儲銀行行長洛麗塔·梅斯特和波士頓聯儲銀行行長埃里克·羅森格倫則預計都將在美股收盤後發表講話。


美元指數跌幅擴大，跌破100關口，現報99.76，跌0.60%，主是市場認為美聯儲不會加快貨幣緊縮的步伐。

黑天鵝指數破頂恐爆股災

據外國傳媒報道，反映市場恐慌情緒的“恐慌指數”VIX指數，近期一直低位徘徊；市場開始注視俗稱“黑天鵝指數”的偏斜指數（CBOE Skew Index）。

該指數於上周五再度飆升，漲至153.34點，並升穿去年6月高峰，再創歷史新高。往績顯示，未來30日股市恐有“災難性大事”發生。

根據芝加哥期權交易所（CBOE）數據顯示，交易員買認沽期權(Put)的頻密度已高於平均水平。認沽期權即是“買跌”，是用來對沖股市下跌的風險。

CBOE Skew Index便是用來量度投資者投入認沽期權的活躍程度，這亦被稱為“黑天鵝指數”，反映市場人士對不能預見波動風險的評估，該指數愈高就愈反映投資者情緒緊張。

詭異的是，現時“黑天鵝指數”在毫無壞消息的情況下狂升，超越了去年6月、2006年，以及1998年3次頂位，創出新高。回顧2006年是美國樓市泡沫爆破前；1998年則是亞洲金融風暴發生時；去年6月則是英國公投脫歐。

Facts:
MIDA attracted seven solar manufacturing projects and 83 renewable energy projects in the solar industry for 2016, worth RM1.77 billion and RM650 million.

For VSolar, it all depends on the issue price for the rights shares. If the company manages it the right way and capitalizes on the solar industry growth...they could eventually acquire substantial amount of capital to initiate solar energy projects. It has to be the right price...too low means insufficient working capital and CAPEX for solar projects. In the form of PPA, this could generate recurring income for at least 10 - 15 years...perhaps they could also eventually draw in capable Chinese PV investors. They are definitely the experts..:)

Can VSolar get to consume this huge chunk of the pie? Unless something is brewing...or else, competitors will end up as the major benefits..
