Nexgram has teamed up with Indonesia’s PT Mitra Abadi Propertindo Utama (MAPU) to sell medical test kits in Indonesia and other Southeast Asian markets.

MAPU has estimated that it will require 500,000 sets of detection and diagnostic kits and 500,000 sets of rapid test kits this year.

Virus SARS-CoV-2 yang menyebabkan COVID-19 tidak dapat dilihat dan tidak bisa diketahui siapa yang membawa virus tersebut. Memakai masker menjadi salah satu cara efektif mencegah penularan.

Tim Komunikasi Publik Gugus Tugas Nasional Percepatan Penanganan COVID-19 dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro mengatakan semua pihak wajib memakai masker selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Ada 3 jenis masker, masker kain, masker bedah, dan masker N95.

Ia menjelaskan masker kain yang direkomendasikan adalah masker yang memiliki 3 lapisan kain. Lapisan pertam adalah lapisan kain hidrofilik seperti katun, kemudian dilapisi oleh kain yang bisa mendukung viltrasi lebih optimal. Untuk lapisan kedua ini bisa juga menggunakan katun atau polyester.

Lapisan ketiga atau bagian masker paling luar menggunakan lapisan hidrofobik atau bersifat anti air seperti terbuat dari polypropylene.

“Masker kain ini dapat dicuci dan dipakai kembali. Oleh karena itu pencuciand an penyimpanan harus tepat,” katanya.

Masker kain dapat dipakai maksimal hanya 4 jam dan harus ganti dengan masker baru dan bersih. Apabila masker yang dipakai basah atau lembab harus segera diganti. Masyarakat disarankan membawa beberapa masker untuk beraktivitas, penggunaan maskerpun harus tepat seperti menutup hidung dan mulut.

Cara melepas masker cukup dengan menarik bagian tali dan langsung disimpak ke kentong kertas atau plastic tertutup guna mencegah penyebaran virus ke barang di sekitarnya.

“Pemakaian masker hanya dapat efektif apabila kita menerapkan protokol kesehatan lainnya dengan aktif seperti cuci tangan pakai sabun dan jaga jarak fisik,” ujarnya.
