Lol, result is good.

Revenue up by 50%, profit up by 500%.

PE 20 stock (less than 15 on rolling basis), sounds good.

Top glove result down but pe20 stock.

If it gap down tmr, ill buy abit more lol.

Hey guys, i think no need to worry to much. Their inventories remain high in this qtr. BAsed on my understanding, Vis is making equipments for their customers on customers order. They need to purchase instruments and parts (inventories) to assemble test equipments for their customers. Inventories for current qtr is higher than previous, means they have more equipments to be delivered..

Reported against the Preceding Quarter
The Group posted a lower revenue in the current quarter of RM6,047,675 as
compared to the preceding quarter ended 31 October 2016 of RM11,740,761,
representing decrease of RM5,693,086. The decrease in sales was attributed by the
decrease in sales of machines.
As a result of lower revenue, the Group posted a profit before taxation of
RM1,125,280 as compared to profit before taxation of RM3,274,759 in the preceding
quarter ended 31 October 2016.
14. Commentary on the Prospects
Based on the latest industry forecast and coupled with the anticipation of new product
launches, the Company is optimistic on its business prospect for financial year 2017.

If look back at the history of each year. The 1st q has always be a bit weaker. The dividend is good news and also the profit margin actually increase compared to previous year. :D

forecast 2nd quarter got eps 2, total 4 quarter 6.74, using p/e 15 times, price at least got RM1 for the next three month.

Depend how u interrupt n overall result is positive. We should compare YoY instead of QoQ. If a company can grow QoQ then their pe easily exceed 40 times instead of 16.x.
YoY show god result and profit margin remain solid n approved company share buyback. Coming qtr should announce another solid YoY result to further drive down the pe.
She'd exceed rm 1 in near term.

1st Qtr 2017EPS 1.22
Difference is the +365%!
