Nono, Vitrox & Unisem and UWC has bombastic growth in next quarter. It is not wise to do so. In the other hand Frontkn has limited growth. Once the growth can't keep up with its PE ratio then hehe, we all know wat will happen.

Google, Facebook and Apple are among the best tech companies in the world. However, their share price is trading at PE ratio of 30-50 only, which makes sense la since they are the monopoly ones ma. On the other hand, Malaysia listed tech stocks are trading at 60-100+ PE ratio, which I believe will be trimmed down once the QR release la. The point is, it doesn't make sense for me to invest in Malaysia listed tech stocks since the price is not attractive for me. I will choose to invest in Apple or Microsoft rather than Malaysia "bright future“ listed tech companies.

mmm apple or microsoft are not semicons, though they are also ''techs'', not an apple-apple comparisons...u shud compare US-broadcom(avago) or smth similar, see its PE...
and if we only use PE to judge a growth stock, i think one would have missed the entire bull run...as the PE was already high even before the bull began last year..we should also consider the growth prospects and industry updates for growth stocks, not to mention, semicons/techs are cyclicals, shud not invest when it is ''low'' in PE, because when that happens, we will need to be extra careful becos money no longer flows in, company already reported excellent results => price stagnant, earnings jump => low PE...see the gloves u will see smth there..

I believe the Dow drop overnight was caused by hedge funds selling tech stocks to cover shorting of GameStop etc. I believe it will rebound. for local tech stocks need to take longer term view. Frontken is in front end of semi; sustainable long term service business.

basically share prices is like the pet dog, the company business is the pet owner, so as the owner brings the dog for a walk in the garden, the dog will wander around, but ultimately the direction and destination is determined by the owner (company business).
