Careglove made a profit before tax of RM980,000 in Q1 of FY 2020. As a wholly-owned subsidiary
of Careplus, it is now in a better position to explore new business opportunities globally. In the case
of Careplus (M), the partnership with Ansell will enable us to produce higher value products and
increase our surgical gloves market share. Morpheus61 is right i think....careglove contributes the larger share of profits compared to Careplus (M)

The revenue and profits from Careplus M from 15th May 2020 until 30th June 2020 were
RM25.9 million and RM886,000 respectively. Subsequent to this quarter, Careplus M
accounts will be de-consolidated from the Group to comply with relevant accounting
standards. The Group will only be sharing 50% of profits from this joint venture entity (refer
note 9, in page 20 and 21).

Profit attributable to owners included Careplus M revenue of RM63 million and profit of
RM2.1 million which was achieved during the pre-joint venture period from 1st January
2020 until 14th May 2020.

PBT profit in Q1 was 1.2 million and Careglove contributed 980k of it....and from jan 1 till 14th of may careplus M gave only 2.1 million profit... overall profit minus selling of the 50% is atleast 20 million plus....so careplus M contribution is small

The last few weeks before the last qr the price hovered around 160 to 195. Then it smashed past 2 the day before qr. Today closing on the eve of the next qr it closed 390, about double last qr eve price, DESPITE the crippling selldown in the past month. The naysayers will continue to tell grandmother stories while countless opportunities pass them by. Next qr double again?

Sell Careplus. This counter gonna crash, lousy counter how to go up more? So expensive, and the lousiest prospects out of all glove companies. Comfort is overlooked. Buy comfort because Careplus is so much lousier but so much more expensive. Don't forget, comfort sells to usa. Careplus? I don't know. But last QR it only make 15 million in core profit. So low right?

People who raise profitability as an issue still dont get what is going on the industry after 6 months. Any glove company that was loss making previously when ASPs was USD2 avg will not be loss making when ASPs are now USD7-8.

Efficiency doesnt matter anymore, its about excess capacity that you have.
