M & A is always a tricky matter with a lot of variables to take care of. obviously the 2 parties dont c eye to eye on certain matters, hence the merger failed to take off. One of the so-called beneficiaries of this failed merger the way i see it is obviously the employees, ie no immediate lay-off. otherwise, some have to go, especially branch employees, there cant be two next-door branches in a single township which we c many RHB & AMBANK exist next to each other

I don't understand why market reacted as such. It supposed to go up as AMBANK fundamental still intact, earning still getting more and more. At current price, Ambank is very attractive and cheap. NTA 5.3. Where to get a good fundamental bank where current share price is lower than NTA?
