Any expert can explainto me, why in cash flow statement, the Net cash (used in)/generated from operating activities, the amount can be (9,711,038)? what's wrong in this? the financial report is profit. However why cash from operating activities can -9,711,038? why like this?

@KY Siow cash flow is not the same as profit. It's actual cash in and out.

From the cash flow statement, the large items are:
Financial assets at fair value through profit and loss -RM3.65mil, means that their profit includes profit from revaluation of their financial assets which does not include any actual cash inflow and outflow yet.

Securities sold under repurchase agreement -RM3.95mil, means they are paying back repos which is short term loans.

@ZeaXG So it consider normal? if the company really profitable, the netcash from operation should be positive figures. How come the netcash from operation can negative so huge amount? i still not understand in this.

some company also have negative operating cash flow

just make sure it is not happen continue in many quarters then should be ok

@ky siow, for normal businesses, positive cashflow is expected. But for banks, its normal for negative cashflow for a quarter or two because they are able to cover with other financing options. However, if prolonged negative also not healthy.
