CIMB is the worst bank out of the top 4 banks in Malaysia in terms of ROE. This is probably why the stock price is trading below NTA. I am anticipating huge impairments ahead for this bank. Dividend payment is not likely to be as high as previous years.

Good rally to take it to 4.50 by year end at least then next year May see some correction and then move upwards when better results in terms of write offs is published. Market thinks ahead remember! That is why banks ceo do set aside high provisions which then can be written back when things improve. Hope CIMB csn recover some of Singaporean loans by group action against the audit firm.
